Awesome and engaging.
Natalie Portman nails her character so completely. I grew up hearing about Jackie Kennedy, but I never knew much about her. I was just a child when President Kennedy was shot. All I ever heard was what the press released. I never knew what happened behind the scenes in family life. This film picks up right after the shooting. It was so surprising because the whole subject seemed to be taboo growing up. I'm really glad someone was brave enough to create this film. There is a very graphic scene that some may find unnerving, but it's part of the story and definitely worth seeing. After seeing the movie in a theater, I knew that I had to own it.
