About the Author

Clara Bastidas es una abogada venezolana, especialista en derechos humanos. Posee un título de JD de la Universidad Católica Andrés Bello en Caracas y una Maestría en derecho público internacional y derechos humanos de la Universidad King's College London en UK. Trabajó en el Alto Comisionado de las Naciones Unidas para refugiados, coordinando la implementación de soluciones duraderas para refugiados y asistencia humanitaria.

Clara Bastidas is a Venezuelan human rights lawyer. She holds a JD degree from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas and an LL.M. in Public International Law and Human Rights from King's College London in the UK. She worked at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees coordinating the implementation of durable solutions for refugees and humanitarian assistance.
