JanSport Big Student 17.5" Backpack

Great backpack. It is large and able to store everything needed for a school and more; clothes, Chromebook, binders, lunch, water bottle, etc. Stylish, but simple.

Good quality lots of space

My granddaughter loves her new backpack! Unfortunately the store that I ordered it from to pick up sold out before they filled the order and had to ship it which ok fine but when we received it the box was all ready opened and left at front door! Would never have target ship anything to me again! Unacceptable!

My daughter loved this print. The backpack is a great size for high school and made with quality stitching ensuring multiple years of use. Jansport has been around awhile and they have maintained their standards of quality backpacks.

First day of school. Zipper stuck on zipper flap. I could have bought a $5 bag. Why did I buy a $55 bag.

The bag is so cute and have many compartments. My niece liked it so much.

I purchased this backpack for my 11 year old. She was adamant about getting the bigger backpack because she needs the space. We both love it. It’s nice and spacious and sturdy. I used Jansport back in the day when I was going to school too, so it’s a bit nostalgic.

My granddaughter loves it can’t wait for her to start school and Also, I got her the matching lunchbox. She is gonna love it.

I am very disappointed with the quality of Jansport backpacks now. They used to be durable and have excellent warranties. Not anymore. We purchased a big student backpack in December 2023 for my high school daughter. She has only used it for school to hold her laptop, binders, etc. Towards the end of this past school year, it started fraying on the bottom, creating a hole. We limped it along until the summer, when I planned to make a warranty claim. I filled out of the warranty paperwork and mailed it to the warranty center (costing $29 to ship). I was excited to receive a backpack in the mail recently, completely expecting my daughter's backpack to be repaired or replaced. Nope. They mailed it back exactly as it was, stating " our warranty covers defective materials, and workmanship only. Damage to your pack (normal wear, tear, abrasion, holes) is not covered under warranty. We are sorry, but we are not able to offer you a replacement for your back request". Clearly the material gave out and was not durable. I would not recommend purchasing a Jansport backpack, unless you plan on replacing it every 2 years or less.

I used the big student backpack from freshman year of high school all the way thru to grad school. 12 years. Never let me down. Buying the new big student now and I have high hopes!

I ordered this for my granddaughter the color was perfect she loves it! The backpack is sturdy and big enough to carry everything that you need for school !
