I bought this eyelash curler to replace my previous one of the same model that had worn out. However, the new one was even more ineffective than my old worn-out one. It had no resistance when I curled my lashes and did absolutely nothing to them, even though the old one I had worked great when I first bought it. With that kind of poor quality control, I switched to a different brand and am much happier with my Shiseido one.

I'm sorry our lash curler didn't work for your eye shape. We have several other versions that might be a better option. The curler in the Lash Curler & Slant Tweezer Rose Gold does have a slightly deeper curve which may not be ideal for extreme almond shaped or larger eyes. Our Lash Curler Limited Edition might be a better fit because it has a softer curve. Or our Lash Curler Midnight has an ergonomic handle and offers the most control to reach the lash line of deeper set eyes. Thank you, JAPONESQUE Customer Service

I bought this last year and it is totally worth it! This curler curls great and doesn't pull out any lashes. It is long enough to fit all of my eyelashes and gets every outer corner and inner corner lashes. I have small eyes with really long lashes and it does the trick! Would recommend!

I really like this curler. I have never had a problem with it not curling. It's comfortable to hold and is steady to apply to lids. And yes, sometimes the pad does come out, but I think my pad is getting worn out. I do wish I could find refill pads for it; however. Why don't you sell these, Japenonesque, at Target?? I too tried other brand refills and they do not work. Overall, I would recommend the product. I think the price is right.

I bought this in store and after reading the reviews I almost returned it without trying it. However I’ve tried it a few times and it works great for me! I was so scared it was going to cut my eyelashes off but it curled them great and was very easy to use. I’m very confused about the completely different experiences people are having with this but I’m glad I’m on the right side of it I guess!

It was great for a few weeks then just like another reviewer said, the eyelash pad won’t stay down. It always comes up loose on one side making it really difficult to use. It also falls out every time I set it down and I have to put it back in before using it. I’ve also tried to use eyelash curler refill pads from a different brand in the curler and those don’t work either, so it’s got to be a problem with the curler. Just like the other reviewer said, save yourself the pain and get a different one.
