Q: i've bought several pairs of thesed (& the higher-end $12 ones). I can't figure out why I am ALWAYS having to replace the rubber pad inside because it's consistently happening with all models?! Help!

A: Most lash pads are made with silicone which is a flexible & durable material. However, repeated use & pressure created during use will gradually degrade the silicone material. Additionally, exposure to moisture, makeup and cleaning solutions can contribute to wear and tear. Lash pads should typically last 6 - 12 months. Please note you should never curl lashes after mascara application. This can cause lash breakage and will more quickly degrade your lash pad. All Japonesque lash curlers include a 2nd lash pad giving you up to 2 years of use. Extra lash pads can be purchased on line.

Honestly, I really loved this eyelash curler. It would perform well curling my type of lashes. Unfortunately, relating to other reviews, it snapped while I was curling my lashes! Only one side of the bolts broke apart. I was so sad because it took two of my lashes with it! Now it rests in the garbage can. Curling = excellent! Design = total fail!

SO BAD!! Ripped out ALL of my lashes. Will never use again or recommend to anyone. It didn’t even curl my lashes. If you want to keep all your lashes, avoid this curler at all costs. It is more worth it to buy a high end lash curler than the cheap ones.

Ripped out my eyelashes see before and after :
I needed a new lash curler, so I picked this one up thinking "hmm maybe this would be good" boy was I wrong.... for reference I never curl my lashes with mascara, I only curl them when they have nothing on them. These pictures are before and after with mascara. It ripped out my lashes so badly, I have so many bald spots please please do not buy this :(
