It is soft and bouncy when damp, the rounded bottom is for large areas while the pointed tip is for more precise application. It works best when slightly damp, gives off a more natural finish.

Performance: When damp, the sponge expands nicely and feels soft enough to blend foundation, concealer, and even cream blush. It gives a smooth, even finish and doesn’t soak up too much product, which is great for the price point. Texture & Shape: The sponge has a slightly firmer texture compared to premium options. The flat edge is useful for applying foundation around the nose and eyes, while the rounded side works well for larger areas. Downside – Dye Bleeding: One thing to note is that when you first wash it, the sponge may “bleed” pink or red dye. This doesn’t seem to affect performance, but it can be surprising and a little messy the first couple of rinses. After a few washes, the bleeding stops. Durability: With regular cleaning, it holds up decently. It’s not as long-lasting as higher-end sponges, but given the price, replacing it every few months is reasonable.
