Q: Does this powder cause breakouts or acne because I have oily skin and break out easly and just want to make sure does it clog pores
A: Hey Sophie, Great question! The e.l.f High Definition Loose Powder creates a "soft focus" effect on the skin. With any makeup application, we recommend to do a double cleanser with a cleansing balm/oil and follow up with your favorite cleanser! This will ensure break outs are at a minimum. Q: what is the difference between the soft luminescence HD powder & e.l.f. Halo Glow Powder?
A: The results on both are similar: creating a soft focus effect, and masking fine lines and imperfections. The Halo Glow Powder is available in shades Light, Medium, and Deep, whereas the the HD Powder in Soft Luminance is not shade specific.submitted byThe Elf Team - 4 years agoBrand expert

Q: How do you know which color to choose?
A: Hi Sandy, we would recommend the white translucent powder if you have normal skin and are looking to create a matte, long-lasting finish. The yellow powder is a corrective powder, ideal for concealing dark spots or under-eye circles. If you're looking to create an all-over dewy look, we recommend applying the shimmer powder on the high points of the face. Hope this helps!submitted byTarget Beauty Consulting - 6 years agoBrand expert
Q: Would you use the yellow for setting your whole face or would the translucent be better? I know the yellow is used to bake the under eye.
A: Can be used either way. I would just suggest using caution with the amount that is used.submitted byKC - 7 years ago
