Hello, I like all of Swanson’s products. I am only taking one Bone Up pill a day. I take it to relax me. Calcium is not as much as they say to take on the bottle.

I think it is a fine vitamin for the bones. I have been on it a number of years now, and I'm still going fine. Yes I have recommended it to others and my doctor also approved it. It's important to make the right decisions when it comes to your bone health. I am a petite woman, and as I age I need to be cautious in this area.

A good alternative to Fosomax.
When I was diagnosed with osteoporosis my dr. prescribed Fosomax. A nurse friend warned me not to take it because after 10 years or so your thighbones break! She told me to use Bone Up. Well, I’ve fallen a couple of times and no broken bones! Once, in a parking lot, I went down so hard it actually bent my ring on my middle finger, but my knees, although sore as hell for weeks, were not broken, nor chipped, nor cracked. So, yes, used it for about 8 years now, and will continue to use it.
