Jason Wu Beauty Flora 4 Eyeshadow - 0.08oz

Over the brown look now so I took a chance and bought this color palette. At first glance, I was afraid it would be too much but even though the colors are quite pigmented, with a soft hand they blend beautifully. This is my second palette from JW and I am liking the looks I can create with colors.

Amazing colors, blend well. Colors “pop” on my eyes.

I love the colors but I don't wear sparkly powder shadows at all anymore. I must have not read the description to tell me that all the shadows in this palette are sparkly / have shimmer particles.

The colors are very light, not a lot of pigment for my preference

Another amazing everyday go to palette! I love that there is so many eye looks I can create with these 4 colors and I also use it along with my other favorite Jason Wu 9pan palette.

The only shadows I use . I have sensitive eyelids and am over 50 . These are gentle , go on like silk, great color , and they last.

I got the brightly colored Santa Fe set. I really like it, but I think the color set looks better before it’s worn. I usually only incorporate three colors, and the yellow is pretty fair on my skin. That means that the colors end up looking a bit random on my face because I’m not getting the whole look. I may need to try using all four colors at once. The other thing I noticed is that the red and purple make it clash a bit with most lipsticks I wear. You may want to be mindful of this if you’re looking to color coordinate. I think this would look nice with a purple lipstick. I also didn’t find this super long lasting.

Neutral and earth tones are a simple go-to look that can adapt to many of life's fashion sceneries. I recently added the Flora 4 Palette 01 Sedona, from Jason Wu Beauty, "Walk Like You Mean It". It comes in a protective cardboard outer box which states that it's cruelty free, clean beauty products, and made in China. The eyeshadow palette has a clear lid which displays the four neutral shades of eyeshadow. They are in the brown hue family, and include a very light tan, a light brown, a light rust brown, and a dark brown. It does not come with a brush or sponge, but you can use your fingertips (which the warmth of the body can help with application), or provide your own preferred make-up tools to apply. The pressed pigments are rather dense. They blend, but not as easily as I had hoped. There was a bit of fallout, but I was pleased, that once applied, it does stay on, and wear well without creasing or smearing. It's also very easily to remove. The colors are a bit light for my make-up look routine, so I usually blend two or more of the colors together, to build a deeper hue. All in all, it's a beautiful palette, reminiscent of an earthy, desert landscape tone, in a matte eyeshadow palette, which would be perfect for those just starting to wear makeup, those who like a more natural look, and everyone who wants to have a small emergency neutral eyeshadow kit to take on the go, day or night.

When applying the shadows I was a little taken aback because a the colors did not seem very true once on my skin. Additionally the colors did not blend as easily as I’ve grown accustomed too with other brands. Personally I would not purchase this product unless it was teformulated.

It's easy to open. The colors are soft and easy to apply. They are not deeply pigmented but give a little color. I love that its clean beauty and vegan!! No dangerous chemicals. I will continue using and recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 'Sedona', it has desert tones that remind me of my last visit to our own lovely desert. I love the shades in this palette. While I prefer to use a blending brush for those beautiful soft tones, you can also use a primer for stronger pigmented colors. Either works great. I was able to use the palette for both shadow purposes and eyeliner simply by wetting the tip of an eyeliner brush and lightly gliding it through the shade of choice. The shadows themselves are of a creamier texture and I had no powdering, which I loved. It's also the perfect size to take on the go for touch-up's through the day.

It comes with 4 different beautiful colors that allow you to mix and match a buildable look! They are a mix of matte and shimmer and the colors are very pigmented! I love the natural look! I would definitely recommend this product!
