Yellow-warm, not orange-warm
Great eyeshadow palette if you want smth yellow-warm instead of orange-warm. Very, very pretty and natural. The 2 mattes are not hard pressed, so there is noticeable kick-up, so tap lightly. However, this makes the mattes extremely easy to blend. The gold and white-gold satin are pretty, but hard-pan easily if you use ur fingers for application instead of a brush, so that's a con. The rose gold satin and dark satin do not hardpan tho. The rose-gold satin is a beautiful, subtle color that I looked for for a long time. This shade of rose gold was so common 15 yrs ago and is flattering on many skintones, but is hard to find now. The dark satin is a great deepening shade that is easy to blend out w ur pinky. I love this palette so much. It is my go to neutral palette for my light-med skintone w yellow undertone. I cannot find better beige shade matches for mattes in other brands (drugstore or high end). Even tho 2 of the satins hard pan, the other 4 shades are so amazing for my go-to looks or base shades w my colorful, sparklier, and/or more expensive shades, that it's so worth the price. I have 5 backups to the 2 that I use for work and at home (which I have already hit pan in the mattes in both).

Coral Me Perhaps if not broken
I recently purchased Essence mini eyeshadow palette in Coral Me Maybe (and other varieties) since it was no longer sold at Ulta Beauty. I love the neutral shades of Coral, and the compact comes with a mirror. Easy to apply and blend with a brush or any other applicator. When I opened the compact, the two left shades broke up a little bit. And that's why it's 4-starred than 5. But I'll be checking out the other shades in the near future.

I got the Taupe palette which is very gray/silver leaning, more like pewter really, except the pinkish/white tones. I'm not mad about it at all. Turns out to be gorgeous on my eyes, blends so nice & soft, super comfortable wear. I'm excited to try more colors!

I have been on a mission to declutter and simplify - even my makeup. So gone are the bulky palettes and in are the simpler, smaller ones with all colors that I would love to use. Essence has great eyeshadow palettes - this is my second one. The colors are demure and the tones are great for every day. It has matte and shimmers. I cannot rave enough about this. I am 53 yrs old., so tugging and pulling isn’t something that I can afford to do. I need easy and soft - and this is exactly that. And can we speak of the price point?! WOW. I love the size, I love the colors, I love the pigment, and I love that you also get a mirror. Definitely brings me JOY.
