Q: Do these use bone conduction technology?

submitted by JR - 2 years ago
  • A: Hi JR, thanks for reaching out about JBL Endurance Peak 3 True Wireless Bluetooth - Black. These earbuds do not use bone conduction. Bone conduction headphones are not inserted inside the ear and rest on the very outside of your ear. Here is an example of headphones that use bone conduction with pictures to better show the difference: https://www.target.com/p/aiwa-bone-conduction-wireless-headphone/-/A-89270597 If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

Q: Are these noise cancelling?

submitted by VL - 2 years ago
  • A: Thank you for your question. Our JBL Endurance Peak 3 has an Ambient Aware feature that lets you stay alert to your surroundings without removing your headphones. It doesn't have a Noise Cancelling feature but you might want to check our JBL Tune 130NC TWS which has both features.

Not a terrible pair of headphones, I've had them for a few months as my go to gym workout pair. I haven't dropped them or anything...however after going to the gym with them...the right ear piece has started having issues with muffled sound quality and will occasionally make a cracking noise like there's some internal damage. Like I said, never dropped them or have done anything difficult as I've worked out with them.

We're here to help with your JBL Endurance Peak 3. Please check the equalizer settings of your phone and set it to default. We also recommend trying to connect it with a different device or play audio using a different application. You may also try doing a Factory Reset. Take both earbuds out. Make sure that they are not connected to any Bluetooth. Press either the left or right earbud three (3) times then hold it on the third tap for 5 seconds. Once done, put back both earbuds inside the charging case for 10 seconds while the lid is closed. If the issue still persists, please be advised that our product have a 1-year manufacturer warranty. Feel free to contact our customer support for further assistance. https://support.jbl.com/us/en/#contact

No suitable for use during exercising or rain

They are NOT waterproof or weatherproof. Not suitable to wearing while exercising, if you sweat. Also not weatherproof, so can’t wear while you run even in light rain. Light rain/sweat constantly interferes with gesture buttons, so songs keep pausing/volume goes up and down and ruins my run. Only purchase if you’re using them for every day earphones, not ones for exercising. Also, when sweating the suction goes, so without the hook round your ear, they would fall out. When this happens, you can barely hear your music, especially when outside. And once they’re wet with sweat, they won’t go back into your ear, so either you put up with no being able to hear your music clearly, or you end up taking them out completely mid training session.

Thanks for your feedback. Our JBL Endurance Peak 3 does not support the multipoint connection feature, which allows you to easily switch between two devices. We recommend trying our earbuds that do have this feature like the JBL Tune Flex 2, Tune Beam 2, and Tune Buds 2 to ensure a seamless device switching experience.

They sound good, but developed a charging issue after a month and now 4 months in one ear bud won’t charge at all. I have really taken care of these, wiping them down after use, occasionally cleaning with rubbing alcohol etc. The quality must be really poor and so too is the customer service at JBL btw. Feel pretty ripped off tbh. My previous running headphones managed 3 years.

After a few months, the battery that was suppose to last a long time cannot handle a few minutes. It's frustrating to spend so much money for a product that doesn't work.
1 reply from Customer Support team - 24 days ago
Thanks for your feedback. It is possible that the battery is losing its capacity. However, it is also possible that the battery is working correctly, but depletes more quickly when the volume is very loud and/or the bass has been boosted. Try to charge the battery to 100% and then listen to music without any bass boosted, and at a very low volume. If the battery lasts close to the published up-to-playtime, the battery is working fine. However, if you get less than 90% of the published spec, this likely means that the battery is losing its capacity. For further assistance, please contact us.

You'd be better off getting dollar store earbuds for a quarter of the price. The sound quality is CHEAP. Maybe I'm spoiled because my first pair was BOSE, but I've borrowed some over ear cheap ones from my mom that were better than this. DON'T GET. They're a waste of money when you're getting g the same quality as a cheap pair. These were not worth 60 bucks.

Personalization option is so fun. Earbuds fit securely on the ear, great for the gym, running or any activity that may result in sweating. I have a few JBL's speakers that I love and was tired of my AirPods falling out of my ears while simply walking down the street, so I decided to try the JBL earbuds. Unfortunately, I wish the JBL sound quality was a little better. I find it sounds "tinnie", not enough base and missing the noise cancelling feature of my AirPods, especially on these NYC streets.
1 reply from Customer Support team - 1 month ago
Thank you for your feedback. Our JBL Endurance Peak 3 does not feature noise-canceling technology. If you're interested in earbuds with noise-canceling capabilities, we recommend models like the JBL Tune Beam 2, JBL Tune Buds 2, JBL Live Free 2, JBL Live Beam 3, and Live Buds 3. These are excellent options for reducing background noise, perfect for traveling on subways or in busy public places. Regarding sound quality, you can download our JBL Headphones app. Connecting your earbuds to the app allows you to adjust the EQ settings, which can enhance your listening experience.

Can't remember how long ago we got them but honestly best and only brand I would use. Out in all weather's gets covered in dust and rain, performs well great battery life. Easily lasted longer than any others used in the past. Looking to replace now after what I can guess is a couple of seasons worth of use and would buy again.

Sound quality is ok for the price, fit is not as comfortable as other headphones. But who thought it was a good idea for the headphones to turn off when you take them out of your ear? It’s absolutely psychotic. And it’s not adjustable in settings? And your settings are not actual settings and are really just profile sets? Maybe Ted Kaczynski had a point after all
1 reply from Customer Support team - 2 months ago
Thanks for your feedback. Our JBL Endurance Peak 3 features a PowerHook™ design, which means the earbuds automatically turn on when you flip up the ear hook to wear them. When you take them off, the hook folds down, and this motion powers them off. If you need further assistance, please contact us.

Extremely disappointed. They fit nicely that's about all that's good about them. The sound volume is horrendous. You can hardly listen to music with it probably could make phone calls or something. Generic Amazon brand we're way better I bought these as an upgrade. I don't think I'm going to buy any more JBL products anymore.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. With sound issue, reset can help resolve the issue. Make sure that the earbuds are not connected to any Bluetooth. Press either the left or right earbud three (3) times then hold it on the third tap for 5 seconds. Once done, put back both earbuds inside the charging case for 10 seconds while the lid is closed, and connect them again to your device. Forget the JBL Endurance Peak 3 on the Bluetooth list of your source device before pairing again as reset would default all the settings of your earbuds. Our unit comes with 1 year manufacturer's warranty upon purchase. Please contact us directly for further assistance.
