The Dongle is extremely flimsy and poorly made, replacements are very hard to source and very expensive. I left mine in situ and it still managed to break. Very dissapointed.

Not sure why the 1 stars are saying the sound quality isn't good. Maybe they need to adjust their settings. The sound quality is amazing! I can hear everything perfectly, fine and then some! Awesome headset, and I'm so glad I went with JBL brand. They never let me down! Happy with the price, because you know you're buying quality.

Overall this is a very good product. Very good sound quality, as is typical for JBL and really good balancing. You can get it to sound exactly the way you want it at any time, whether you're gaming or not. The "game-vs-chat" balance gauge is a neat feature, but it did need some time to get used to it and learn what it's doing and how. The battery life is good and it's amazing that you can just plug it in when it gets low and keep using it without any fuss or having to stop using it. Only a couple of slight negatives. Firstly the microphone (by accounts from friends on voice chat) is not very clear. They said it sounded a bit muffled. This might be an issue with settings on my part, but I couldn't figure out how to fix it. The actual complaint I have is that, because of all the features and everything this headset has going for it, it is on the heavy side a bit, so comfort over long sessions isn't the best, and because it's not very tight at the sides, it does get to slip away, if you lean too far back in your chair or look down for whatever reason.
Best headset especially for big heads

Decent quality but too heavy so that when you lean forward or backward it will fall off. Also will hurt ears after an hour or two with them on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A Gamer's Perspective: JBL Quantum 910X Wireless for Xbox Review As a hardcore Xbox gamer who craves immersion and hates distractions, I recently snagged the JBL Quantum 910X wireless headset. After putting it through countless hours of raids, races, and battlefields, here's my honest take: **Sound:** * **Boomtastic Bass:** Let's start with the good stuff. The bass is phenomenal, explosions rattle your skull, and car engines roar to life. It's perfect for action-packed games where you want to feel the intensity. * **Spatial Sorcery:** The DTS Headphone:X 2.0 spatial audio is a game-changer. Footsteps, gunfire, and enemy taunts come from all directions with pinpoint accuracy, giving you a huge edge in competitive games. * **Crystal Clarity:** Highs and mids are crisp and detailed, allowing you to hear everything from subtle environmental cues to character whispers. No more missing important dialogue or footsteps because of muddy audio. **Comfort:** * **Cloud Nine Comfort:** The memory foam earcups are plush and breathable, even after marathon gaming sessions. No ear fatigue here! * **Snug Fit:** The adjustable headband ensures a secure fit that won't budge during intense moments, but it's not so tight that it causes pressure. * **Weight Watchers:** While not the lightest headset, it's surprisingly balanced and didn't cause any neck strain. **Noise Cancellation:** * **Silence is Golden:** The active noise cancellation (ANC) is decent, blocking out most background noise like fan hum and chatter. Perfect for focusing on the game and not getting annoyed by roommates or family. * **Not Magic:** Don't expect complete silence, especially in loud environments. But for most home gaming situations, it does a good job. **Other Features:** * **Mic Magic:** The detachable boom mic picks up my voice clearly and has background noise suppression, so teammates hear me loud and clear, not my dog barking. * **Long Haul Hero:** The 37-hour battery life is a lifesaver. No more scrambling for a charger mid-raid. Plus, you can even charge while playing. * **Multitasking Maestro:** Connects to both your Xbox and phone simultaneously, so you can answer calls or listen to music without switching headsets. **The Not-So-Good Stuff:** * **Pricey Punch:** This headset definitely isn't cheap. You're paying for premium features and performance. * **Software Quirks:** The JBL QuantumENGINE software can be a bit clunky at times, but hopefully future updates will smooth things out. * **Head Tracking Hiccups:** The head tracking feature is cool, but not always accurate. It felt more like a gimmick than a game-changer. **Overall:** If you're a serious Xbox gamer who demands immersive sound, crystal clear communication, and long-lasting comfort, the JBL Quantum 910X is a worthy investment. The powerful audio, effective ANC, and comfortable design make it a top contender. However, the hefty price tag might deter budget-conscious gamers. **Final Verdict:** 4.5 out of 5 stars. A premium headset for serious gamers who prioritize audio quality, comfort, and noise cancellation. Just be prepared to pay a premium price.

Purchased these a couple weeks ago. Love them so far. Very easy to connect to the xbox. Sound quality is excellent. The spatial sound mode is incredible for FPS. Directional sound is dramatically improved over anything else i've used. I actually purchased the steel Nova 7x headset at the same time and decided i'd keep the one i liked best and return the other. Needless to say it was no contest. The build quality of the 910x was far beyond what the steel series had to offer. These aren't the loudest headphones I've tried but the noise canceling makes it so they don't have to be. I've extremely happy with my self -gifted Christmas Present!!!
A Game Changer in Gaming Experience Audio

After several weeks of using the JBL Quantum 910X, I'm genuinely impressed. As an avid gamer, audio quality is paramount to me, and this headset delivers exactly a high and real experience I tested playing Assassins Creed, Alone in The Dark, Resident Evil 4. The headset creates an immersive experience, making me feel like I'm inside the game. It's particularly noticeable in games where directional audio are the key The Active Noise Cancelling is a game-changer, blocking out external distractions and allowing me to focus. The low latency connection means no annoying lag, keeping me in sync with fast-paced action. The comfort level is top-notch. The memory foam ear cushions mean I can game for hours without discomfort, a must for long gaming sessions. And the battery life? Phenomenal. I rarely worry about it running out mid-game. The cables are top quality, 3.5mm audio braided audio cable, i liked that it's matching the green colout theme and it has enough lenght to not disturb my game. A USB-A to USB C charging cable and a calibration cable (which to me was the innovative one) - It can be done on one of your ears The software to set your customizations and set different sound styles can be done via Desktop (PC , don't have MAC so can't comment on that) However, there are a couple of downsides. The headset's advanced features are fully available only on PC, which can be a drawback for console gamers wanting to utilize all its capabilities. Also, the price point might be steep for casual gamers. Overall, the JBL Quantum 910X is a solid investment for serious gamers seeking an edge in audio quality and immersion. It's not just a headset; it's a critical tool in my gaming arsenal.

I’m reviewing the wireless JBL Quantum 910x headphones for Xbox and I have to say I am pleased with the quality. Starting with the packaging, the box design is really eye catching and gives good detail about the product, as you open the box your are met with a very plush and soft dust bag to hold the headphones which is useful for travel and storage, also i was pleased with the inside compartments of the box and how smartly it was folded together to make a nice and neat box for the headphones, onto the quality of the headphones themselves again I’m very pleased with the design and feel of them, as I took them out of the box and held them they just felt expensive all the materials used feels very good in quality, The ear cushions are comfortable and fit perfectly with very good sound cancellation, the mic design is a nice touch, I like how it’s got a red light on the end of the mic to let you know your on mute it’s also easy to mute and unmute by just flicking the mic upwards very convenient in game, The buttons and volume controls are a nice design quick and simple to use and i really like how I can separate game chat and gameplay volume by just one motion. the sound quality itself is loud and clear with no noise issues at all that you would get from most headsets like a buzzing noise in game while charging or crackling , All three modes Bluetooth, dongle & aux work perfectly with no performance drop in either one. In general they are perfect headphones for gaming or listening to music as the high quality in the bass and the crisp sound it gives makes hearing footsteps and the direction they came from clear as day, and if your listening to music it’s really brings out music for what it is very clear and the perfect balance of bass to make a perfect sound,The battery life is another feature that impressed me, With 37hours of battery life from fully charged you can never run out of battery while gaming or anything else the battery life is a key feature in my opinion. The lights on the headset are really nice and have a nice look to them while on a stand, love how you can configure your lights to your color preference which I haven’t got a chance to get into yet but sounds like a great feature. Overall the headset itself is outstanding in my opinion not a bad thing to say about it, the only thing I would say & it isn’t a bad thing is the spin feature on the headphones feels like It would definitely break if dropped or sat on but it does add to the designs maneuverability and without it it would be stiff and hard to adjust. I give them a 9/10 as I haven’t got anything bad to say about them and for the price it is more than reasonable for what you get.

Using these headphones have been a game changer! Firtly the quality is outstanding. Playing lots of games in stealth mode, this headphone gives me a competitive edge becuase of the quality as i can hear the footsteps of the enemy. Secondly these headphone are so comfortable! Overall the pros for these headphones is the sound as is one of the stand-out features of the JBL Quantam and is far and above what you will get with most other sets in this price point. I'm also a big fan of the restrained design of the headset, and I've found them to comfortable enough to wear for marathon gaming sessions.

I recently tried the JBL Quantum 910X which delivered an immersive audio experience that elevated my gaming sessions. The crisp sound quality, coupled with powerful bass, allowed me to fully immerse myself in the virtual worlds. The design was both stylish and comfortable, ensuring extended gaming sessions without discomfort. The noise isolation feature effectively blocked out external distractions, enhancing focus on the game. The headset's microphone performed admirably, providing clear communication with teammates. While the build quality felt robust, the adjustable features allowed for a personalized fit. One notable drawback was the slightly heavy feel during prolonged use, which might affect comfort for some users. Overall, these gaming headphones strike a commendable balance between audio quality, comfort, and design, making them a solid choice for avid gamers seeking an enhanced gaming experience.

Comes packaged in a fleece drawstring bag inside a box. Below that, a flat box contains the documentation and accessories: a quick start guide, USB dongle with USB-A to USB-C adapter, USB-A to USB-C charging cable, 3.5mm analog audio cable with inline microphone mute and volume controls, and a 3.5mm ear measurement mic. The headset itself is sturdy and well-constructed using quality materials. To unlock the Quantum 910X's full functionality requires installing the manufacturer's software, as Bluetooth and analog connections only provide stereo sound. In terms of audio quality, there's little to complain about for a gaming headset. I really like the head tracking, which can be calibrated through the software. It works well, though its benefits are somewhat limited since you're usually looking straight ahead during gaming. The microphone delivers clear audio for voice chat. The active noise cancellation is effective at reducing ambient noise, though not as strong as premium ANC headphones. The on-earcup controls are well-designed - easy to touch and responsive. The Quantum 910X is a solid, feature-rich gaming headset and I would recommend this product.

I wanted to test these headphones as I am a particular fan of the colourway of these. I love the overall aesthetic of the green against the black. The overall packaging and unboxing experience itself felt very luxe. The package contains: 1 X JBL Quantum 910X Wireless for Xbox headset 1 X Calibration Microphone 1 X USB Charging Cable 1 X 3.5 mm audio cable 1 X USB wireless dongle 1 X USB-A to USB-C Converter 1 X Windshield foam for microphone 1 X Quick Start Guide | Warranty card | Safety Sheet These are absolutely geared towards an Xbox user as seen by the colourway and indeed what is written about these headphones (although it does state that they can be used with Playstation, Nintendo Switch and PC) so I was really intrigued to know how these would work as a PS4/PS5/PC user. My partner has been gaming in excess of 10 years and has experience of using different headphones for a full and immersive gaming experience so I enlisted his expertise to gauge how these measure up against their competitors. He used these over the testing period with his PS5 and found the sound quality to be good, the noise cancelling to work well and the microphone also works well when on comms with friends. He had no issues with lagging and used these over a long stretch of time in the evening and the battery held up superbly. For me, I use headphones when I attend live webinar masterclasses with a maximum stretch of time of use being about an hour each time. They connected quickly via Bluetooth and I found the headphones comfortable - I was able to adjust them to fit my head/ears properly (I have a small head so this can be challenging at times). The sound quality was great and it absolutely did feel like an immersive experience with the noise cancelling used. I would absolutely recommend these to anyone looking for great quality headphones. Don't be put off by the Xbox aesthetic and read beyond the fact that they are geared towards that as they are fully compatible with other devices. Good points: - Aesthetically pleasing packaging and headphones - Great sound quality - Noise cancelling works well - Microphone works well - No lag - Long life battery - Bluetooth connectivity Points to note: - Aesthetic could be off-putting for some - Some may see the aesthetic and the gearing towards Xbox users and take no notice that these are fully compatible with other devices
