To charge your Jetson Mako Electric Motor Assist Ride-On Push Car, simply plug the charger into a wall outlet first, then connect the charger cord to the charging port on the vehicle (as shown on page 12 of the user manual). When the indicator light on the charger turns from red to green, the battery is fully charged. At that point, unplug the charger from the vehicle and then from the wall outlet. A: Dear Roxy, Thank you for reaching out with your question regarding the remote control. The parental override remote control allows you to operate the Mako ride-on vehicle directly, giving you full control over your child’s riding experience. With the remote, you can: Move the vehicle forward or reverse, turn left or right, adjust the speed between low (1.5 MPH), medium (2.0 MPH), or high (3.0 MPH), stop the vehicle immediately if needed. Before first use, the remote needs to be paired with the vehicle. To do this, insert 2 AAA batteries (not included), press and hold the M button on the remote until the indicator lights flash, then power on the vehicle. Once the lights turn solid, the remote is successfully paired and ready to use. I hope this information helps! Assembly nightmare
The instructions state that it will take 10 minutes to assemble the car. The Steering wheel shaft was ⅜" of an inch too long and the rear bar was manufactured with holes on the wrong side. Luckily my husband is handy and re-tooled and grinded down where necessary. Took an hour of his time to get pieces to fit correctly. Otherwise, granddaughter loves car, especially horn.

Dangerous. Please read!!
1 star because it’s dangerous. We were so excited to take our daughter out to drive it. Any slope on the sidewalk or cement and the car is sliding. The wheels have absolutely no traction. We were so so sad within the 5 minutes of us taking her out in it she crashed head onto a wall. She flew out of her seat. Good thing she had her seatbelt on because she would’ve flew out or even hit her head against the wall.. We’ve had a few cars and realized this had to be the first one we’ve owned without a rubber strip on the tires to prevent sliding. Cute car but would not recommend at all

Sticker residue
Love this car however I spent a solid hour with acetone, vinegar, and warm soapy water trying to remove the residue from the instructional stickers and still couldn’t get it all!

Scam -- DO NOT BUY
The car in the box isn't the car in the pictures on the box or in the instruction manual. The manual says there should be dashboard controls for sounds and volume, but there are no controls in the car. The box even shows pictures of the sounds and says they exist, but the car has a totally different instrument cluster. This is clearly a scam, and I don't know how Target is getting away with it.

So much Fun to RIde!
From the moment the car is turned on and roars to life your kids will fall in love with this. The car is easily assembled and ready to use in minutes. The car has working doors, lights and horns so it is very interactive to enhance the experience. The best part is the car can be steered and operated by remote control which is great for the younger kids still trying to get the hang of it. The car operates at three different speeds so as kids get older the car grows with them. Recharging is easily accomplished through a easily accessed charging port so the car is always ready to go. This car is just pure fun!

Great Kids Ride On!
We got this ride-on for our 2 year old and she absolutely loves it! She's too young to control it herself so the steering feature for parents is a great bonus and she thinks she is steering it herself. We started off riding around the house and finally moved it outside when it wasn't too cold. We can't wait to ride this more often when the weather is nicer. Setup was simple and the directions were clear and helpful. Everything was included in the packaging and we had no issues starting it up after charging. Also, the color is really nice! It's gender neutral and sharp looking. Highly recommend this ride-on for toddlers and up!

We love this car!
My daughter absolutely loves this car! It’s the perfect size and speed for my almost 2 year old. I love that I can control it with the remote because she’s too young to understand how to steer on her own. The push stick feature in the back is great so the car can still be used if you forget to charge it. Set up did take some time and was much easier with 2 people, but directions were simple and easy to follow. This car is going to get use for years to come!

My daughter loves this thing
Got it for Christmas, so still fairly new. She rides in it so much that we have to take her out and hide it after a while. Its a lot of fun to be able to either push her around, or use the controller. She's still too young to drive it herself, so it's mostly me having fun driving her around.

Perfect Christmas Present
This was the perfect christmas present for me 2 boys (1.5 and 4). They love the fresh look and feel like they have their own car. It was easy to put together as the instructions were very detailed. I love how it comes with a remote control so when the boys are having issues steering, I can help them immediately and from a distance. This care will have years of use in this household as its perfect for multiple ages.
