Jif To-Go Creamy Peanut Butter - 8.8oz/8ct

Smucker Co. -- VERY DISAPPOINTED in the shrinkflation of Jif To Go Cups -- imagine my surprise when I purchased the usual 8-pack and noticed the overall packaging was smaller, then noticed the individual cups are smaller too?? Ya know, things are tough now for many reasons, but to actually think that you can make product changes that are not in the best interest of consumers while also thinking consumers are not going to notice and call you out for it is ludicrous?! It's funny --there is no advertising on the package that says "Less amount for the same price!" (versus the opposite when companies enlarge product contents/packaging!) Your site claims that the change was "Thank you for reaching out. Please know that we are in the process of transitioning some of our Jif To Go products in certain retailers to a 1.1oz size. While this “snackable” size was preferred based on recent consumer feedback, we appreciate your comments and will share your thoughts with the appropriate, internal teams for future consideration." Seriously, please do not insult us by indicating the decision was based on "preferred recent consumer feedback" -- show us that data; show us comments form consumers asking for "less peanut butter for the same cost". Just be honest, Smucker/Jif, you made this decision to make more profit. I have noticed others comments indicating their displeasure and even seeking other peanut butter companies. I may do the same. I hope that you do the right thing - admit you went too far and either return the sizes to 1.5 oz for the SAME price or LOWER the price of the new SMALLER sized cups. Having less does not help, as noted in some of the comments-- the portion control is a big reason we like these -- now there is not enough to make a sandwich or cover toast with -- please step up and make this right. Thank you! PS: I gave this two stars simply because I love Jif so much, originally was 1 star :-(

The flavor is fulfilling and a delicious semi-sweet nutty taste. This had endless uses, from breakfast time, to lunch and even dessert. I love the flavor it gives to everything I use it on and the nutrition it provides in the long run.

The comforting taste is a rich, roasted, nutty flavor with just the right amount of salt with a hint of sweet. The packaging makes it easy to store. The wide mouth really makes is easy to scoop the peanutbutter out without a big mess.

The company has shrunk the cup size on the to go cups. There isn’t enough peanut butter for a small apple. You guys suck! I will buy a different brand and put it in my own containers going forward

I read all of your responses to customers disappointment in Jif reducing the size of the to go cups. It’s disgusting and unbelievable how you accuse “consumer feedback” and retailers for decreasing the size of the cups and keeping the price the same. I will just stick to Skippy pb from now on.

I use this nice and small packaging peanut butter cup portion for my son’s school lunch he likes to eat it with his sliced apples it has a good flavor and doesn’t waste a lot

These are a must have in my pantry. The kids and I use them all the time for lunches. Throw them in your lunch bag with some sliced apples, some pretzel thins, some celery sticks, add a string cheese and some turkey roll ups and you have a super quick and easy and healthy lunch. Mom is happy, kids are happy.
