A: No. But it really helps keep person cool. I use my phone charger.

I bought this in a rush knowing I was going to have to be outside, possibly in the sun, for a couple of hours on a very hot day. It doesn't really cool as it blows the air around you, which can help a little but a cold cloth around your neck is probably more effective.

I have hEDS & POTS -this made being out in 90 degree sunny weather bearable! I bought this to go paddle boarding at a local lake & this kept me from over heating. I didnt think it would do too much, or make much of a difference but it did. When you are outside, it does blow warmer but even with it warm, it was enough to keep my body balanced. I gave it to my husband to try for about 15 minute’s & without it, i started overheating. Buying another for my husband. Gonna be taking it everywhere! It matters what neck fan you choose
There are many factors that you should be considering when buying a neck fan. Noise, power, air distribution, and comfort. This JISULIFE neck fan is the best across all categories. I have 2 other cheapo Temu neckfans and they're heavy, hot on the neck because the battery rests on you, loud, and blow air directly at your face. This neck fan is way better because the weight distribution is more balanced, the air flows all around your head, the battery is held away from your neck, and it's quiet. Don't cheap out on a crappy fan, this is miles better.

Barely blows air. Battery life is AWFUL. The charge doesn't last at all. Charged full according to directions. Barely lasted an hour on the lowest setting. The air flow is TERRIBLE. On ALL settings. My cheap $10 one is better than this more expensive one I bought for my daughter.

Cool as a Cucumber but Dog Still Don't Listen
It was hotter than blue blazes outside, and I had to powerwash the patio. I'm thinking it was 92 with 80 percent humidity. I put this sucker on, and it dropped by body temp to cool and comfy in about 10 minutes. Why in the world did it take this long to find this thing.
