Don't have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

How to measure

  • Chest

    With arms at your sides, measure around the fullest part of your chest & shoulder blades, keeping the tape level & snug.

  • Waist

    Bend slightly to one side. The crease is where your natural waistline is. Measure a comfortable loose, level line around that point.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit well. Now measure along the seam from the crotch to the leg opening.

    Great concept but desperately needs tweaking.

    First the "full rise" fit on these if far higher than for example the "full rise" classic Yfronts. It fits more like a tall man's brief which is an odd surprise. Second the pouch lip could come up about a centimeter to compensate for stretch and slight sag throughout the day.

    Tightie not whities.

    I ordered mediums which is the size I always wear, and I have not gained weight or added muscle that would have affected the fit. But, these were uncomfortably tight—not even big enough to be a small. They were unwearable.

    Tighter than expected

    They are excellently crafted. I like the pouch and the H style fly opening. However. They are one size too small. I based my medium size selection on the fact that I wear 34” jeans plus I have other styles of Jockey underwear and the medium size fit well. With the current purchase I realize that I should have bought large.

    Perfect Fit and Function — Exactly What I Wanted

    I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews about the high rise on these briefs, but honestly, that’s exactly what I was looking for — and Jockey delivered. Yes, they are truly full rise (I’m 6’2”, 205 lbs, wearing a size Large), and they sit high, as advertised. That’s part of what makes them so comfortable and supportive. The pouch design is excellent — supportive without being restrictive, and it adds a level of comfort that’s hard to find in most standard briefs. One note on sizing: in my opinion, Jockey runs a bit small, so I’d recommend sizing up if you’re on the fence. If you’re looking for a classic, high-rise fit with modern pouch comfort, these are a solid choice.

    Not Munsingwear, but close.

    I am seeking replacement for many decades of using Munsingwear briefs, now discontinued, and find yours better than vertical access to, you know. Fairly fit, 80 and continually trying to lose 6+ unecessary belly pounds, I find size 36 snug for sure. Otherwise, a good alternative.

    please go back to old design

    please go back to the design from 2-3 years ago. I have used Munsingwear and Jockey pouch for many years. I recently purchased large pouch briefs. The new design has a smaller pouch and bigger leg opening not to mention the higher waist. They are not as supportive and comfortable. I will look elsewhere for my next purchase.

    Sizing is way off

    My medium Jockey pouch underwear was a bit tight so I ordered the large size thinking they would be perfect but the large is immensely bigger than the medium so now I have 15 new pouch underwear that are useless. Your sizing is way off.

    No Like They Used To Be

    I’ve worn Jockey brand for most of my life, but over the last couple years I’ve noticed things have changed. They may not admit it but the sizes are different. I switched to other brands for awhile but thought I’d go back. I tried a larger size, and it was like grandpa’s bloomers. I returned them and will not try Jockey any more.

    Almost perfect - but not quite.

    I like the design, and the product is well made. I do not like the high/full rise. Jockey used to sell the mid-rise brief in this design, and they were perfect. But no more.
