The sun protection is surprisingly nice, I’ve never really used clothing with spf protection but these pants changed my mind. I appreciate the comfort and practically these pants offer, from the comfort waistband to the zip pockets. The only thing I didn’t like about the design was the keyring bungie in the pocket. It was very meager and was worn feeling quickly - it would be nice if it was beefier like a belt loop. This would allow it to stand the test of heavy use.

I will repair them myself to give them a go, but the quality control is a bit of a let down

The offset zipper front pockets I thought should preferentially be located more on the side. When something is in those pockets, like my phone, it disrupts the line of the front of the pants. Zipper pockets are good, ample space for wallet or phone. Nice overall look. Fine color. Fit is a little tight in the thighs but I am an avid runner/biker so fit would be better i had a different proportions. 6ft, 185lb.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately, I received these pants during the heat dome. So, I cannot say I got a real chance to wear them on a hike or other outdoor activity for which they are designed. I was barely wearing clothes at all, let alone long pants. That said, I did wear them around the house a few days--ahhh, air conditioning--just to get a good idea, and boy are they comfortable. I have worn various brands in my life of traditional khaki hiking pants in the past, but they always feel a bit stiff until you break them in. Even then, I wouldn't call them stretchy. These pants are not only ready to go out of the package, but they also have an awesome stretch to them, which I could see being perfect for scrambling up a boulder section on a trail, hauling firewood to the campsite, or getting into a full squat when...nature calls. My only concern is that the fabric that allows them to stretch won't be as durable as a thicker, "traditional" pant. I don't know if this will be the case, but I put my clothes through the ringer, so I expect that I will know within a few wears. I am very active and my clothes handle a fair amount of regular "abuse." Therefore, I am constantly looking for new products that can handle it. As far as fit, they are a straight leg pant that fits pretty close to standard. They are not baggy, but with the stretch fabric, it doesn't seem to restrict movement.

After testing these through some very hot, humid days on the job, I can firmly state that I wish I had found these pants sooner. They truly kept me cool and dry throughout the day and stayed fresh for an overnight travel day as well. I absolutely recommend these pants to anyone.

After wearing these pants on 2 different occasions I can say that I was not warm from wearing these. They are lightweight, with a very breathable material. Probably one of the better pants I've worn.

You can go to the beach and wear these pants and they will keep up. They are stretchy and light very breathable. Highly recommend for picking up for a friend or Father out there. From a few wears around the house, the fit is great, true to size and consistent with other Jockey products. The material is nice, somewhat light, stretchy and flexible but at the same time they seem like they will be durable also. They appear to be well made. I like the extra zipper pockets and the dark green color is great. I think they're nice enough that I could wear them around the office on casual days but they would also be great for hiking, yard work, or other activities. Im looking forward to wearing these a lot more as the weather cools.

BUT although they have some stretch BEWARE if you have thick thighs, they will be very fitting. Besides that they are comfortable to wear all day and be comfy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the Jockey Lightweight Utility Pant. The TurboDry waistband is great. The fit is good. The key bungee, zip pockets, and UPF 50+ make them super functional. The material is perfect for year round use. Overall, I’d recommend these.
