Q: This only fits forward facing between 47-49 inches tall as listed on the website? Surely that’s a mistake?

A: That is a great catch! Thank you for letting us know; we will fix it as soon as possible. The usage for forward-facing with the harness is 30 up to 65 lb. and up to 49 inches. For highback booster mode, the usage is 40 up to 110 lb., up to 57 inches (whichever comes first), and a minimum of 4 years of age. Please reach back out if you have any more questions.

A: Thanks for your question. The saffron SI is not approved for use on airplanes. Most airlines will allow you to check car seats free of charge.

A: Thanks for your question. Saffron SI is not currently FR-free but has met and passed the CA Prop 65 regulations. Additionally, our products are JPMA certified, which means we adhere to ASTM standards, federal and state laws, and some retail requirements.

A: Thank you for reaching out. The Saffron SI is a 4-in-1 car seat from 4 lb. up to 120 lb. It is not compatible with any stroller. If you are looking for a car seat compatible with the Ginger stroller, the Rue, and the Mint Latch work as a travel system with Ginger.

I love how plush the car seat is. Very high quality. Very comfortable for my 1 year old. Lots of safety features. I dislike that there isn’t a leveling bubble on it, instead you have to eyeball that a line on the car seat is level with the ground. I also dislike that there isn’t a tightening lock off in the rear facing mode, instead I have to just pull to tighten as hard as I can to get the car seat to tighten with the latch system enough to not move around.

The car seat looked nice and cushioned. The reviews were good. But we disliked it so much! My baby’s back was wouldn’t go straight. It made him hunch. The padding wasn’t that padded. Very deceiving car seat. It was a NO for my little one.

Right out of the box, the quality stood out—super sturdy, well-padded, and honestly just looks sleek in our car (huge plus). Our little one seems really comfortable in it, and that’s saying something because car rides used to be a bit of a struggle. Installation was surprisingly easy, which I appreciate because I do not have time to wrestle with a complicated setup. Adjusting the straps and recline is also really intuitive, which makes day-to-day use a breeze. Even though we’re only using it in toddler mode for now, I love that it’ll grow with our kid. My 3 year old needed a new car seat. I went to Target and put her in the display one to try out before buying. The fabric is so nice, it is very cushioned and comfortable for her. This car seat already has all the updates that are going to be added this summer. For rear facing she has to use the hip padding and she still fits with room even with that extra padding. The chest clip is magnetic and she loves to clip it together but cannot undo it (she could undo her Graco one). The straps are very smooth and easy to tighten and loosen. It was super easy to install. I had a question about how far the back of the rear facing seat needed to be from the drivers seat. I emailed customer service and within an hour I had a response. The only other part that was more tricky than other car seats is that there is no level bubble, you just have to look at the line on the seat to make sure it’s level. I feel really confident that my daughter will be safe in this seat and am really happy with the price. You get a lot for what you pay.

My thoughts on this car seat: Pros: -easily labeled weight recommendations on the actual car seat inserts -basically comes fully set up; you just need to install it in the car -only car seat you’ll need since it has setups for 4 lbs all the way to to 120 lbs -comfortable -sleek and modern Cons: -you can’t take the infant seat out without uninstalling the car seat (I.e., if you want to be able to just carry Baby in a car seat when out and about, you might want a different car seat for the first few months)

It looks much better in my vehicle. I find that the straps are much easier to secure the baby in myself. With my previous car seat it was a bit of a struggle, and I would have to have my husband help me most of the time because I have long nails. I had never tried anything from the brand Joie before getting to test this car seat from Influenster and I will definitely be purchasing another one for my second child.
My baby loves this carseat.

However, installation was a bit tricky to me. I am using rear faced, as my daughter is 8 months old yet. It was so hard to buckle the seatbelt while carseat is rear faced. I am questioning car seat harness. It’s magnetic and tricky to open. I need to use both hands to open it.

The seat padding is soft and comfy and my kid looks relaxed even on longer rides. It has good safety features and I like that it adjusts as they grow. Cleaning it is not hard either which is a plus. Feels like a good long term seat that’s built well and easy to use.
