The shape is modern and comfortable to hold, they’re very practical for everyday use. Overall, I enjoy using them and they add a nice touch to my kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have thoroughly enjoyed these bowls! They clean really well and I like theirs width over depth. They do tend to scratch with use of metal utensils in them, however it's very minimal and blends in well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are very nice bowls. They fit nicely in my hand and have a smooth, matte feel. I prefer this shorter sided soup style to the cereal style because cereal ones are huge and I feel like I put too much food in them. The bowls were packed tightly in the box with dividers and are all in great shape. Since they're ceramic there are the typical glaze holes which you can barely see, but one had grey scrapes inside like utensil marks. Not a huge deal, the box looked brand new, but they show up on this color easily. Of course they get hot from the microwave like other ceramic dishes.

I used one time and each time my spoon would lightly tread the bottom of the bowl to spoon my soup, it would leave black scratches on the bowl. The coating on these bowls comes off. It’s dangerous to eat that! Don’t get these.

Cleaning the very first time with a gentle scrubbing sponge leaves many scratches - mostly I am worried about eating the coating. The coating is very thin so the grey pottery shows through. Is this safe?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are absolutely beautiful bowls! They came well packaged to prevent breaking being they are ceramic. The only thing that I found I was disappointed with was that they scratch very easily.

I was really excited about this one as I really needed new bowls! These are beautiful, BUT like most things, it has some minor imperfections. There are some "scuff" like spots I can't remove. But no biggie... nothing in life is perfect, after all. They were packaged very well and had no cracks or breaks. The texture/finish makes me nervous for red sauces, though. The size is perfect for cereal or soup or any pasta dishes. I would recommend!

They nest together nicely for easy storage. They wash up easy and are dishwasher safe although I usually just wash them in the sink because food doesn't really stick to them. My favorite part about them is that because they're stoneware, my food stays hot longer.

I love the stoneware texture and color, but be aware that it’s not glazed smooth like most bowls or plates. Sometimes there are marks that appear on the light color due to the nature of it not being glazed smooth, but usually it comes off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic bowls! Classy and high-end looking. They are a little bigger than normal for a hearty serving of soup or just a larger bowl of cereal. I like that they are both dishwasher and microwave safe and that they stack nicely for compact storage. They seem durable so I am sure I will get years of use out of these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could not love these bowls more! Such great quality - hefty and sturdy stoneware. Holds nearly 3 cups. Perfect size for a hearty bowl of soup. Or better yet, a bowl of my delicious spicy sausage pasta fagioli (pictured). I chose the color beige, and it's so beautiful and contemporary. Though I never use my microwave to reheat things, these bowls are microwave safe. As well as dishwasher safe. And I love that these are made in New York City! I definitely plan to buy other pieces from JoyJolt.
