  • A: If you are playing Just Dance 2021 on the Xbox One, you can use the Xbox Kinect to play if you do not have the Controller app. If you are on a Series X or Series S, however, you do need the Just Dance Controller Application on a mobile device to play.

Do Not Buy! Will give ZERO start if possible!

Trash controlling system with Xbox, Series X doesn’t support Kinect anymore, makes this game useless. iPhones are too big to hold during the dance. Can’t get second phone work at all. Going to sell it cheap on Facebook and get the switch version!

Just a bad game design

Designing a game that makes you use your phone as a controller is just dumb. Last time we played this game we used the kinetic was a great game. Purchased for my Granddaughter for Christmas and regretted it. Was a pain to use the phone (kept disconnecting) and the idea of giving a 7 year old a phone to hold while she was dancing just didnt seem like a good idea. Kept getting adds to purchase addons after every song. Sold my copy on Ebay for 15 dollars since you cant return open games

Useless game and total disappointment

Good luck getting this game to work. I bought this at Target for my Xbox Series X, downloaded the required app and was ready to play. However, you will continually get error message after error message saying your phone and Xbox need to be in the same WiFi network. They both were and after an hour of frustration, I gave up. That’s when I googled the problem and found a litany of the same exact complaints. I tried to take it back to Target and explain it’s not working for anyone, and they were like oh so sorry. They would only exchange the game for the same exact one, so now I have a brand new copy of a useless $50 game.
