Use this unique heated dog pad to keep your special pet warm in even the coldest temperatures, whether outdoors or indoors. Its internal thermostats automatically heat to a dog's natural body temperature (about 102F) and will turn on and off as needed to keep him or her warm and safe. We build this durable heated pad with tough ABS plastic and a 5.5 foot steel-wrapped cord, shielding the product from a dog's chewing while also keeping pets safe. Each and every K&H Lectro-Kennel Heated Pad includes a free fleece cover. Yes that's right, we said free!!! Use the Lectro-Kennel with or without the included fleece cover. Its washable, soft weave allows the pad's warmth to radiate through to your pet whereas a blanket or any other cover would trap the heat inside the pad, possibly causing a malfunction. For added protection, drill holes through the outer lip of the Lectro-Kennel and screw it down to the floor or onto the wall. This will deter pets from picking up the pad like a chew toy. Whether outdoors or indoors, use the K&H Lectro-Kennel anywhere a flat, stable surface is available. Its water-resistant build is perfect for dog houses, porches, garage floors, barns, or even the living room. No matter where you set the Lectro-Kennel, it's sure to be your dog's favorite resting place. The K&H Lectro-Kennel Outdoor Heated Pad has been tested rigorously and certified by MET Labs. Their certification means this product adheres to strict electrical safety standards. Pre-set internal thermostats automatically monitor the surface temperature to keep your dog warm and comfortable. Great for My Bernese Mountain Dog
I feel confident that my Berner is warm outside in his insulted crate which is located on a covered deck. He’s a cold weather dog, but I still want extra protection for him. He stays inside the crate laying on the heating pad, on most extra cold days. Sometimes he comes out - even in the cold and sits on the deck without the heating pad. I guess it’s so that he can get a break from the warm pad. Maybe it’s too warm for him??? IDK. I’d rather him be too warm than the opposite.

Our dogs love the Lectro Kennel Outdoor Heated Pet Pads. Our outdoor dogs' houses are protected by overhead shelter, shelter on 3 sides and their insulated houses have a cover over the opening. The outdoor pet heating pads provide the final step at keeping them warm and cozy in their houses. We bought 2 from you over 10 years ago and wore them out.. Just bought 3 more and plan to get more. Nothing better at keeping dogs warm and cozy. We highly recommend K&H Lectro Kennel outdoor heated pet pads.

I FEEL better taking care of my cats!

Long lasting & life sustaining
I bought the identical heating pad in 2005 for my desert tortoise. I am to blame for it not continuing to work after almost 17 years because I carelessly got it wet near the cord entrance while washing down the tortoise house. My 75 year old tortoise that has been in the family for well over 50 years could easily live another 25 years. With proper care, I know the heating pad will last.

Comfy cozy and nice looking.
I bought this for my kitty. He absolutely loves stretching out or curling up on this! He lives at our motorcycle shop and it’s cool in there at night. I wash the cover once a week so it stays nice looking and clean.

unable to purchase a replacement cover
My outdoor feral cats love this pad. Have been using it for years. However, now I am unable to purchase a replacement cover (Deluxe Lectro-Cover part # 1105). Was told to purchase the extreme weather kitty pad deluxe cover (part # 1135), but it doesn't fit, just a bit too small. Pls bring back the replacement cover that fits this model. Thanks!

Original lectro kennel
I ordered this for the doghouse of my outdoor farm dogs and they love it!! When they climb out of their doghouse in the morning, their fur feels all nice and warm and it makes me happy to know they are well taken care of. This was a great purchase!

Lectro Heated Bed
I got it for my Giant outdoors tortoises. They love it and it is sturdy enough for them. It makes the winter safe for the species ( Sulcata Tortoises) that don’t hibernate and are too big and destructive to bring inside for the winter.

LOVE IT!
I bought this for my mix Boxer and Husky for the 0 degrees we had a few weeks ago. They usually sleep inside, but at my in laws they had to be in the yard.. I put this outside in their large kennel. Our husky was perfectly fine and let our boxer lay in the kennel. He was cozy and loved it. It was not burning hot and I think it was perfectly built and sturdy! I recommend this to anyone who has dogs outside.
