The cartridge filter can be easily inserted and removed by turning it – with no additional locking elements required. Crushed
The filter works like a filter. However 2 stars removed for Karcher's insistence on sending accessories in plastic bags instead of boxes, which means both filters I received got crushed by the courier to varying degrees. Come on Karcher, improve your process please! Use cardboard outer boxes for delicate items!

Nice vacuum cleaner but one major fault.
Only used twice, once to pickup wet leaves and the other to vacuum damp artificial grass over some decking. Went to empty the container and found the filter had completely disintegrated. Seems others have found the same fault.
