It protects the case just fine, but it's too difficult to get it out. I've been struggling it get it out for 10 minutes. Don't buy this at all. You need to remove the case to press the button on the back sometimes. Repeat- DONT GET THIS!!

I can't pair my airpods with anything because the case is stuck on mt airpod case. I've tried many things, and I can't get it off.

Super cute design and fits perfectly. However, the reason I wanted a case was to make sure the earbuds don’t fall out when dropped. Dropped them this morning and they both fell out so a tad ineffective for a case. Especially for $40, I’ve had more protective cases for less.
