How do i remove the airpods from this case, i'm having horrible problems with it

This is the third Kate Spade AirPod case that I’ve owned. I like them a lot. They’re sturdy and have pretty designs. My first experience with Kate Spade cases was much like others have mentioned. Difficult to remove, although I did finally pry it off. So when I bought my second Kate Spade case, I had the bright idea to put a tiny bit of vaseline on one side of the case. Worked like a charm! Easy to remove everytime I need to. I will keep buying these Kate Spade cases. They are so pretty and I get lots of compliments. Even my daughter uses them now. She puts a tiny bit of lotion on the inside of her case. I hope that my hack helps you as much as it’s helped me. 🙂

You can definitely take off the case without cutting it off. For everyone saying they can’t get it off, must have the wrong generation. I have 2nd generation and it easily comes off when you put the charger in and push up with minimal effort. It’s so pretty and very thick. Feels protective for my expensive AirPods. Worth the price.

I like the looks of it and it’s super cute and all but the only bad thing about it is that it’s pretty difficult to take off. I work in a place where I use a lot of boxes so I constantly get dust on me/ clothing, meaning my AirPods also can get dirty requiring for me to take off the case and clean my AirPods. With this case though it’s super difficult to do so. If you constantly like to clean your AirPods I wouldn’t recommend this product but if you’re someone who doesn’t then definitely get it. Again it’s super cute and protects your AirPods but it’s super difficult to take off once it’s on.

The case itself, is cute. It can be a little difficult to take off at times but that isn’t a deal breaker for me. I rather it be snug, then fall off constantly. It’s cute and protective. What more could I ask for? My biggest issue is that the case seems to have like air bubbles inside that is impossible to fix. Aside from that, it seems like a solid case. Will update if anything changes.

The design is so pretty, after reading the reviews before I bought it I was informed that the case is hard to get off, all I simply did to remove it was putting the charger in the bottom and pushing up, and before I put the top on I stretched it out a little so it wouldn’t be as hard to get off, no need for cutting and tearing up the AirPod case. Hope this helps!

0 stars for Target! Target has this product mislabeled!!!! This case does not hold 3rd generation airpods like listed. The case itself is super cute!!!

Beautiful case. Very classy, stylish, great quality. However, absolutely impossible to remove. Once it's on, it's stuck. Had to use a knife to push it up from the bottom. Thought I was going to break the airpod case. Charger fit perfectly without problems. Just could not remove it or access the pairing button on the back of the airpods. Therefore, this case is a hard no for me.

I have owned like five of these now. I have no issues getting it on or off, and no issues with it fitting the charger. I love these cases.

do not buy! it’s impossible to remove, i had to use a razor knife to cut it open and ended up damaging my expensive airpods. seriously read the reviews before buying this because you will not be able to get this case off your airpods without damaging the case and your airpods. extremely disappointed

it's pretty I'll give it that buts and absolute NIGHTMARE to remove. and it's for makes it difficult if not impossible to charge with it on. damaged the outside of my airpod case just trying to remove this case!

Terrible, cant remove the case and cant fit the charger through the hole. I ended up prying the case off after trying for days and contacting kate spade and it damaged my case

Would not recommend, i thought it was cute so i bought it but it is nearly impossible to get off, i can’t find my Apple charger and the phone charger i have doesn’t fit through the case so my airpods are dead and i can’t charge them
