When you buy something without a review, you’re taking a gamble! We definitely did. Looks wise - looks identical to Pottery Barn Carlisle couch. Even prettier in person. The photos in the original listing made it look like the fabric was weird, but when you get it in person, it really is super pretty. Comfort wise - it is like sitting on a ROCK. My husband and I can’t stop laughing about how it looks like it would be comfortable and you could curl up on it with a book, then we go to sit on it, and it’s hard as a rock, and truly, I am not exaggerating. How something this uncomfortable was ever approved into production is beyond me. Who approved this? I even had my kids jump on the pillows for 20 minutes to try to soften them. I am not confident it will ever soften with time. The longer you sit on it, the more you can feel your back strain. It’s truly one of the worst if not the worst couch I’ve ever sat on. Long story short - if you want something to actually sit on and enjoy, DO NOT BUY. If you want something that simply looks pretty with minimal to hardly no use, this will work for you!! We will be keeping it because it’s only $650 (as compared to $3K elsewhere for same look) and we needed furniture in a room we hardly use and have young kids so wanted something we didn’t have to worry about getting ruined. We never use our front room but just wanted something there. This works for that. I truly would NEVER recommend this couch though if you want something to actually use.
