Kichler Lighting Tolerand 1 - Light Chandelier in Textured Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light lights up my whole front porch. Its beautiful how it hangs and is adjustable in length. Its just the right amount of frosting on the glass so you can still see the light bulb but it isnt glaring right in your eyes. If you have an existing light on your porch it is easy to install. Just follow directions that are included. If you dont have one Im going to assume its harder, I have one so it was easy. I will say the directions do not tell you what size light bulb, just not to exceed the recommended wattage marked on the light. I looked all over it and finally found a sticker way up inside the light on the stem where you screw in the bulb. I had to peel it off in order to see it. There was no way to see it from the outside. So I stuck the sticker to my instruction booklet, so as not to lose it in future. This light is moderately heavy, the panels are glass, it does have tabs to take out the panels to clean. The wrought iron and frosted glass look makes it breathtaking. It makes my porch a soft well light place to sit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am thoroughly impressed with this lighting fixture! It is so beautiful, and everyone that comes to my door compliments it! I placed it in the center of our front porch overhang. We consistently have pretty strong winds, so honestly I was a little nervous having a hanging fixture there. But the fixture is heavy and extremely sturdy, it barely moves around at all. My husband installed the fixture in about 20 minutes, said the directions were very clear and simple to follow. It gives off the perfect amount of light, bright enough to see clearly without being blinding. I think it looks absolutely gorgeous at night, lit up you can really see the seeded glass and it makes quite statement!

We were able to install it ourselves with no issues. It was pretty straightforward and easy. Because it’s on our front porch, we don’t have the chain hanging too long. The pendant light seems strong and durable. It gives off a good amount of light, but not too much for a front porch. It’s beautiful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a big fan of Farmhouse decor and this beautiful pendant light from Kichler is a perfect addition to our outdoor space. The pendant light looks like a vintage lantern. The seedy glass is very eye-catching, and I am really impressed by the amount of light that it casts. Installation was easy, like with most of Kichler's lighting, however, at first, I was a bit confused when I saw that this light had 2 black wires. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that one of the black wires had white dashes, meaning it was the negative. I was able to remove our old light and had this one hung in less than an hour. The length of the wiring and chain give you the option to hang from a very high ceiling or a standard height ceiling. We love our new light!

So far it has been durable outdoors. My guests have made comments that it looks nice. We feel like we are eating on a fancy restaurant patio now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently installed our Kichler Tolerand Light Pendant on our front porch and I am so in love with the look it gives! The Tolerand Light Pendant is absolutely STUNNING! I love that it's shaped similar to a lantern, which looks great hanging on a porch ceiling . The seeded glass panels and textured black finish are beautiful and helps to add a special glow when it's turned on. The cage-like look around the pendant gives it added charm and sophistication. Perfect look for many different décor styles! As most Kichler products are, it was fairly quick and easy to install. Everything you need is packaged well and available for easy access. This is one of my favorite Kichler features! The only issue we ran into, was our front porch sits lower than I thought when obtaining this light and where the light would hang, our screen door would hit it. But we were quickly able to install the wiring where it needed to be and hung another hook further out to hang our light on. This gives it added charm as if it it was meant to hang that way! Thankfully Kichler light fixtures usually come with an abundant amount of suspension chaining, just for issues like these! We always love our Kichler products and are proud to show them off in our home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new Tolerant pendant light! Everytime I pass it, it literally makes me happy. We installed this ourselves (my husband did) and he said it was very simple to install. It didn't take him longer than 30 minutes to remove the old, and install in the new. We put this in our, high ceiling, three season room. It would really make a great addition anywhere. It would look wonderful on a front porch or front door archway! I love the black, slick look, with the textured glass. When the light is on, it makes the ceiling look extra pretty. The actual pendant is very high quality - Kichler almost always is, though. Overall, this is a beautiful pendant. I can't think of any cons, other than the need for me to go out and buy the matching wall light!

Installation is quite standard and the light is built sturdy. The design is a rustic farmhouse and goes with my suburban House very well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Solid design! I was in need of a new light for my front porch and I had the room so I decided to try a hanging pendant light. This light drew my attention because of the dimensions the rustic flat black iron look which was a perfect match to the surrounding decor. The best feature about it for me other than the size is the glass. It isn’t just a plain glass. It is a glass that has a water drop or seedy type of design to it (see picture). The glass isn’t frosted but clear. It is a very sleek design. The install of the light couldn’t have been any easier. It is also light weight which made it easier for a one man install for the fixer upper type of person. The position can also be adjust to right where you like it which was awesome. The light puts out a nice brightness too which I think is due to the glass design. Unfortunately the bulb isn’t provided but I guess everyone is different in what bulb design they like. I choose a more vintage type of bulb design. Overall, I couldn’t be happier and I look forward to swapping out my back deck light for another Kichler design to “brighten” things up! A+!

Installation of this pendant was straightforward and fairly standard in regard to lighting fixture replacement. I chose this particular pendant for my space because I love how simple and clean the lines are-- but also love the modern flare added by the wire cages surrounding the piece. Because my decor is a combination of farmhouse, industrial and boho, I wanted to find a lighting fixture that would compliment each of these styles and bring my space together. The Tolerand pendant provides bright light and a beautiful ceiling pattern when lit. I love the overall ambiance provided by this fixture. This pendant is superior in both look, durability and quality-- another terrific piece by Kichler.
