Q: How are these used? What do kids do with them? Are they a pool toy? I have no idea, but they receive good reviews. I have a 6 yr old grandchild. Thx!

A: I agree with the above commenter. Typically you would throw them into a pool, they sink to the bottom, then people can dive under the water to grab them. They can be used as a great prop for various family games or to practice building lung strength for swimming. Either way, be sure to monitor children if they decide to dive for these.

Q: Do these rings have a weight on one side so that they lay flat on the pool floor or do they stand up?

A: Hi Mugg13M4m4 - The material density is heavier than water. It will sink to the bottom automatically. The rings are soft and flexible, but there is an internal piece of foam on one side to help the ring to stand upright for easier grabs

These are a lot of fun. They aren’t solid but are better quality than a different brand I saw elsewhere. If you care about the color, buy them in store to choose. Ours were lighter colors as in the picture. They sink and stand up on their edge at the bottom of the pool. My daughter loves diving for these. You can make up lots of games too!

While the description of the rings does say the colors vary, I thought it would be one of the two colorway packs shown. I just received a set that was not shown as one of the sets. It’s pretty but 3 blue and one purple. Keeping because my daughter likes the colors but fear they will be hard to spot in the pool. Would not have purchased these colors on purpose.

I didn’t get the colors shown but I bought two. One to keep one to gift, and whoever did my shopping was super thoughtful (they picked two packs of different colors vs two of the same). Some people might not appreciate that but I did! And I ordered drive-up because of convenience and surprises for my kiddos- they don’t know what they don’t see!

The pack we received is all blues and one purple which are impossible for my toddler to find. Only buy in store where you can pick the other colors!
