Kids Adventure Jumbo Blocks Standard Set - 96pc

The main reason for purchasing these blocks was because the description said that 80 out of the 96 pieces were the 8x8” blocks. Instead, only 48 out of the *94 received were 8x8”; my son is not a fan of the 4x4” blocks. Another reason was to add to an existing set. However, the pictures are also deceiving; they have the same likeness to the smaller set I have from a Target purchase made 6 years ago (at a much more reasonable price), but the blocks received are extremely low quality in comparison. Unlike the first set, these do not connect well (to the point where an adult has to step in), and disconnect from each other very easily when lifted. I get that a lot has had to change since 2020, but it’s sad that this company chose to both lower the quality and majorly up the price.

My 2year old got these from Santa after he asked for "big Legos", it was a great, impressive gift. Only 2 out of the set have a little trouble stacking as the sides are a little tight, but quality is great. Packaging was very nice, these have been used and abused for 6 months and look perfectly new. I think we'll get many years out of them. Just need to find a nice way to store them.

These blocks are just packed into a thin box which, as you can tell from the pictures, leads to damage in shipping. My package arrived on December 23rd with a red block clearly poking through the box and completely cracked. I attempted to resolve this problem through Targets chat but that was futile. Even though I clearly stated I could not return the whole box of 96 blocks as it was a xmas present, which was only 2 days away, the people on chat could not comprehend this and the fact I just wanted a single red block to replace the damaged one. I gave up on chat and called Target directly. They said they contacted the vendor and a replacement block is on the way. After all the run around I got from Target in trying to resolve my problem (ie, I JUST WANT A SINGLE RED BLOCK TO REPLACE THE CRACKED ONE) I'm not holding my breath that I'll ever receive the replacement block. If I do, I'll get back on line and update this review.

Not the blocks shown in the photo and not the correct number of blocks. Does not easily connect to the other blocks, as the ones shown in the photo arw different. Thought I was buying that set. Still fun, but disappointed the number of blocks and style isn't what is shown.

My 7 year old son loves them!! They are nice quality and a decent price

Our children love these blocks, and are engaged for long periods of time. It's so nice to see them use their imagination, and build.

Box came damage and not worth what we paid for

This is my second attempt at a review. Two stars instead of one since the kids seem to be enjoying it. Huge flaw in the design of the blocks as they are not able to sit perpendicularly and stay in place. They will sit, but not snuggly to the point you can pick them up, so you’re really looking at building a a parallel wall or tower. Every time. If I could take them back I would, but alas, it was a Christmas gift to my children and I don’t want to disappoint.

Love these! 2nd set we bought for our grandsons! They play with them all the time. Encourages creativity! Don't know if I would have bought them at this price. These are $ 50 more than I paid.

I love these and so do the children in our center. Our one year olds enjoy them as much as our 2 year olds. The 2's class played with them all day long when we added them to our block center.
