Amazing!
We bought the two-pole shade hoping it would be good enough for four us at the OBX. We were a little nervous whether it would suffice but I have to say this thing was amazing. Great sun protection. It wasn’t super windy but a regular sea breeze was handled with ease. Assembly and disassembly was easy and super quick - much better than a tent style beach shelter and infinitely superior to an umbrella. Lightweight to carry. Packs down to nothing too. Don’t contemplate any other shelter. THESE ROCK! I saw another review where the reviewers thought they were kings of the beach. We concur!

Wind is no problem.
This product has transformed my relationship with the beach. It’s easy to carry and set up by myself. I have used it several times in San Diego where it’s pretty windy on the beach. I absolutely love this product. And my kids are thrilled that I actually want to go to the beach now.

Awesome product. We used it all week in the USVI. Had no issues setting it up at all and our neighbors on the beach were very jealous! The Tent withstood 20+ MPH winds with no issue at all. The tent material is super stretchy and the poles are ingeniously designed to fold neatly. It’s very light and easy to unpack and repack in only a couple minutes. I love this tent! It’s perfect for 2 people on the beach and it’s way better than an umbrella or traditional tent with stakes.

So easy to set up and use!
Saw these tents on our last trip to St. John in the USVI and was jealous of their occupants sitting comfortably in the shade, so I bought one for our recent trip. Best thing we ever did. Our first time setting it up took the longest and that was maybe four minutes. You want to really FILL the bags with sand, like as much as you can fit and then wiggle the bags around and fit even more sand in them. Then put up the poles and boom, enjoy the shade. Even on windy days it held up perfectly, while we watched other unlucky people holding onto their umbrellas to keep them from toppling and flying away. We could get three beach chairs and a cooler into the space under this.

So far so great!
I’ve taken this to the beach with my 2yo daughter. It works great. It’s quick and easy to assemble by myself (I recommend watching one of their videos showing you how to set it up). It’s perfect because it’s very compact and lightweight, so I can fit it along with all our other gear in our jogging stroller when I am taking her to the beach by myself. It stands up to light wind just fine.

The best money spent
I bought this for a week at the beach. This was so easy to set up. I could have done it myself but my 13-year-old son and I worked together to get it set up in less than 5 minutes. It offered enough shade for 2 of us to comfortable stretch out and it stayed sturdy all day. I did readjust the front poles in the afternoon but for the comfort and the amount of shade we enjoyed the price and effort was well worth it.

I have two toddlers and including carrying the smaller one and all the other items for the beach I didn’t want to add more weight. This tent is so light and easy to put up. The material is quality, it’s very easy to stuff back in the bag and the poles are super light. Don’t be afraid to stretch it to it’s max. I highly recommend it because it can also be taken on vacations because it’s so light and fits in a suitcase.

Worked Great for 2-3 People
Super easy to set up, even in decent wind. Once I set it up as directed, I needed to move the poles a bit, but it was quickly stable for the day. Maybe 1-2 minutes for the entire set up the first time. It's not as big as it seems. I think a maximum of 3 people and some stuff can fit under this. Kinda wish I bought the bigger one, but this will do for now.

Very pratical - a must have on the beach!
Bought this for a trip to Hawaii. Used it in North Shore Oahu (windy and light rain) as well as in Waikiki beach (Blazing hot). Very portable and light.

Worked Great
Dig out the dry lose sand and put the screw stakes into the moist sand. If you don’t have moist sand to screw the stakes into, fill the bags with sand and then use the stakes in and place the sand bag on top of the stakes. It will work. I can’t wait for out next trip to the beach!

Super easy to setup…cannot imagine why others had difficulty. Set into the wind so it inflates sail like. We used on Atlantic coast ocean beach and took very strong wind. Super easy to adjust as sun and wind changes. Remove poles slide bags to new position, minor excavation to fill/bury them then just re-insert the poles—- takes minutes. Just enough shade for two people.insanely lightweight. Was afraid was afraid would be an overpriced disappointment but far from it. No more collapsing heavy umbrellas for me.

Easy to set up and lightweight
This beach tent is awesome, it withstands winds in the beach with no problem. It is great when you want to sit out of the sun for a while and it is nice and breeze inside. It is extremely easy to assemble from the very first time it barely took us 5 minutes, it is also lightweight and the easy to carry.Would definitely buy from seller again. I have recommended this to friends and family.

i will never use anything else! i've tried umbrellas, canopies and other tents before and nothing comes close to this! super lightweight and easy enough for one person to set up-- TIP: bury the bags! the other reviews are right. buried deep, wind will never be an issue for you.

Super easy
Used this today at the lake and followed instructions to the T from the video on their website. It was so easy that my 5yr old son was able to follow along and help too. Only had a slight breeze at the lake, but it was up for about 4 hours with no issue at all. I'm taking it to the Atlantic coast in August and will give further feedback if it's not living up to the perfect expectations I have from my first use with it.

Helpful tips to make it 5 stars!
This tent is so compact, lightweight & easy to assemble! Tips to help with set up & wind: don't just put sand in the bags & set on the sand - bury the bags, pour water over it and pack it down! This helps hold it in place. Also, do not try to position the stand at the exact corner -this is what can cause it to tear at the seam. Place the ball of the stand farther back reducing the stretch at the corner of the cover. We've used this several times over the last 2 years and love it!

Be Different, Be Cool!
Follow the instructions on setting up (wind direction is important), and this will be the best thing you bring to the beach or wherever you need portable shade. Our tent stood out among all the normal beach umbrellas. People watched us set up the tent and even commented on how quick we did it and how cool it looked. At one point, the wind changed speed and direction and took a few nearby umbrellas away. Our tent parachuted just a bit but stood tight. It helped that we also buried the sandbag weights in small holes we dug. When the wind stopped, we simply shifted the tent poles so the front end of the tent was facing in the right direction. Took seconds to do. Get one of these and you'll thank yourself. We purchased the smaller tent and are now looking at purchasing the larger one for our beach trip next year. The smaller tent can easily fit 3-4 beach chairs. We want more space.

Portable, easy to set up and can withstand a strong ocean wind!
I bought this tent for two different island vacations and it was amazing! Light weight, packs easily in a suitcase, portable. It held up very well in windy conditions for us also. There was one day in the Bahamas with squalls blowing in where I was up inside the tent bracing both sides until the storm blew by but that was not a normal beach wind. And it was hilariously enjoyable! I had purchased extra poles which ended up being the wrong size and longer than the poles that came with the tent so we only used one of those to prop up the back center of the tent and it still worked great. Our first set up took half an hour but after that we could set up in under 10 minutes with two people digging holes and filling the sand bags. Definitely recommend burying the sandbags for more stability. This tent is well worth the purchase and so much easier to carry than a bulky umbrella and I highly recommend it!

Great overall design
After trying a couple of tent products for use at the beach, this is a winner - and I highly recommend you get the additional poles to have 4 total. This product is ingenious and lovely, especially how compact it is for travel. We travel on airplanes to beach locations, and the compact bag . There is a good training video that shows you how to set it up. It takes some practice, especially if any wind is present. I was surprised how well it stood up to heavier winds when you drive in stakes . However, once winds hit about 18mph I couldn't keep it up - however, I suspect longer stakes would solve the problem (I have long 18" camping stakes made of steel going to try next time). Overall, really really love this product, great sun protection, great design for setup and SUPER compact and transportable. Bravo -
