I am diabetic and have been on a fairly strict keto diet for 5 years. King Arthur advertises this pizza crust as “Keto”. But, I have tried the product on several occasions and each time it sends my blood sugar through the roof. If you are diabetic use with caution.

Tried it once. I’m used to making pizzas at home with regular dough. I didn’t expect this to taste like regular dough; however, it is like cardboard and I don’t like the wheat flavor as opposed to a “regular” crust. I appreciate that KA has this product available so we don’t have to suffer through some of the other homemade keto pizza dough recipes, but for me, the jury is still out on whether I should try again with this crust.

This makes an acceptable copy of a normal pizza. It’s a little lighter and fluffier but it browns well, rises, tastes like pizza, and looks like pizza. Eaten next to a normal KA pizza, there’s a clear difference but by itself, it’s pizza. No odd aftertaste. It’s better than a lot or normal supermarket pizza mixes. If you’re doing low carb, this is better than any other pizza I’ve tied.

This pizza crust turned out so delicious! It was chewy, crispy, and flavorful! I was nervous to try it because I have tried many different Keto crusts where I couldn’t get past the texture, but this surpassed my expectations. When purchasing I didn’t realize makes two 12” crusts, so it’s great having extra in my pantry now! You do have to plan ahead to make this because the dough needs time to rise, but the prep was easy and the dough stretched out easily for me. I did cook it about 5 minutes less than recommended because it was browning fast in my oven. Overall, I highly recommend!

My diabetic husband absolutely loved this mix! We made it according to the box instructions, and it came out a little soggy. For our 2nd attempt, I heated up two pizza steels to 500˚ for about a half hour. We shaped the doughs, transferred them to parchment paper, topped them and 'pizza peeled' them on the steels. What a wonderful difference!! It tasted more like traditional pizza (I’m from Brooklyn, after all!) so my husband didn’t feel so different or deprived from the rest of our large family. GREAT JOB, KAF!!!

Really great! Didn’t taste funky like so many keto foods do. Wonderful substitute for a pizza crust and way low in carbs without being made of nuts. Not sure what second day crust will be like but fresh baked was great.

Best keto pizza crust ever. I’m really hoping it doesn’t get discontinued or changed. I know manufacturers like to change the product by making it more cheaply but I really hope that it doesn’t happen with this. Thank you King Arthur team for this tasty pizza crust.
