How to use: scoop a small amount into your hand, rub the balm into your hand in a circular motion, work through your clean, wet beard. Let set for 3 minutes then rinse if using as a deep conditioning mask or leave-on for use as a softening treatment.

First thing is the scent. It smells nice, it has a musky but not over powering scent . It's definitely not a balm . If you need something to help style your beard or tame those hairs that pop up this is not going to work. What it does do is condition the beard and it does make it soft. I do feel that after it sits for a bit the scent doesn't change a bit and isn't as great as when first applied. It does make the beard soft but not really that soft. What I have been doing is using it as a mask. I'll cake the stuff on there which will absorb surprisingly great. And wash it off after about 15 minutes. If you have dry skin or sensitive skin I suggest using very little or just not use it at all. If your skin can handle it, you like the scent and it's in your price range it's a good product. Most other butters at this price range are either super strong , don't do much or leave a residue.

Leaves beard super flaky, don't waste your money

This beard balm creates tons of dandruff like flakes if left in. This product is beard butter consistency even though it says balm. I’ve used other leave in beard butters successfully to actually moisturize and reduce flakes. But this product needs to be rinsed out or it’s non stop beard dandruff all day! The ingredients are the proof this is not a great moisturizer… all the moisturizing ingredients are at the very end of the ingredient list. Don’t waste your money.

First off, like a previous review said, this is not balm. If you're looking for a butter, this one is amazing. Super moisturizing and rich, I'll apply it once and because I love how it feels, I'll apply some more. My beard feels great, the scent is not overwhelming, this was one of the best butters I've used

Read the ingredients carefully - contains NO beeswax like a Beard Balm should. This is a Beard Butter for conditioning but provides no help in styling or hold.

I have been using this product for about 2-3 weeks and love the way it makes my beard feel and smell. Not greasy, soft beard, great smell, etc.. I have had a couple of times now where my face (cheeks around beard) became inflamed and puffy. The last time it happened I had to run to the store bathroom to wash it off as it was making me feel bad as well as the redness and puffiness. Not sure what is causing it but it is too bad because I really like the product. Guess the search continues for a good balm option.

I liked how this product softened, but my eyes were constantly burning from use. I literally had tears coming out of my eyes for 2 or 3 days in a row until I realized it was this product causing the irritation. I'm required to wear a mask at work and this probably increased the irritation. I'll continue my search to find something else with little to no smell, but this balm I had to just throw away.

This set has everything you need for your beard. The products smell amazing. I particularly like the safety razor for cleaning up lines, and the clear shave gel helps me see what I'm doing during my shave. The beard balm is also a great conditioner. If you're just getting into beard care, this is a great kit with a little bit of everything.

I bought this a few weeks ago. I was told by a coworker it could help me because my beard gets super itchy and let me just tell you it did an amazing job at stopping the itch, it smells good, and the product is not too thick like other balms I’ve tried in the past.

I used the oils and tonics - but I honestly couldn't tell much of a difference (outside of making it shiny). Someone recommended this to me and holy cow - the smell is amazing and after a couple of weeks - you can noticeably tell that your beard has gotten softer when running your hands, a comb, or someone else's hands through your beard. 11/10 if I could!
