A: The way I look at it is that if I'm buying a "Cooling" pillow protector, then, I sleep directly on it—otherwise, how would you be able to take advantage of the cool feeling, right?! —this is just my own logic and opinion.😉 That being said, I'm almost certain they are made to be used either way, so it's really just a matter of your own personal preference (and what feels good on your face, lol)!
