I bought this specific model because it was the kind that my culinary school had so that I could practice because I didn't quite understand how to use the up and down mechanism I always used the models that have the tilt the top part of it but I'm glad that I got this one because I love it, the color is beautiful everything works amazing, only downside is because I got the larger model it is very heavy so to move it around kind of sucks but other than that everything is great.

I took a long time to purchase because I was worried about the cost, but it was definitely worth the cost. I love how big it is, I can make my 4 bread loaves recipe in here.

The mixer was left with a burnt smell and stopped working after trying to make a bread dough. After it stopped working, it started working again after 45+ minutes and stopped again after few minutes of running at the recommended speed which not only ruined the dough but also my experience. On top of that the latch for the bowl is really stiff to work with making every single baking experience difficult. I wasn't aware of the return/exchange policy of kitchenaid but they make it impossible to do so. Now I have this mixer that doesn't serve the purpose and is difficult to work with and I can't even exchange it. Simply NOT WORTH the money!!

My other two would have lasted me many more years but this last one is truly wonderful. It is much quieter and the half speed option is just great to have. I make several batches of cookies each month and I can't wait for my baking days so I can use my mixer! I recommend Kitchen Aid mixers whenever I get the chance - my trusted and faithful appliance.
