A: All houses have a male and female end. The female attaches to the hydrant. You can add on to the male end if needed or use the nozzle.

Q: Does it have a uv protection coating so that it can be stored wrapped up on my holder in sunlight outside?

Hose was in a knot, snagged in places, package was ripped. I really think this was a used product. I should have paid the dollar more and got it from Amazon. It does work, on the positive side. Made to deliver water, it does that. It was advertised as new, but that may be a stretch.

Cheap Quality and Lame Warranty
Only lasted 9 months and it has multiple holes that it leaks water out of now. Not very good quality and it has a year warranty but Target doesn’t have any options to return it after the return window expires. Now I have to figure out how to go to the manufacturer to get it covered by the one year warranty. Way too much trouble for this when the most important thing about a hose is that it doesn’t leak!

Broke just doing the initial prep stretch
Didn't even get to use it before it broke! I was following the instructions for the first time use. It says to slowly turn the water on and fill the hose to stretch it out for the first time. I didn't have the water on very but after less than 30 seconds, I heard a pop and then water spraying. I go to the spigot and discover the mesh around the inner tubing has split right at the base of the metal end that connects to the water! Water was spraying out from that point. The connection to the spigot was perfectly fine with no leaks.

Started off great
Started off thinking I found the best waterhose ever. It stays by my greenhouse and I don't move it around much. After a few weeks of light use, there's a huge leak that keeps getting bigger. It just looks like part of the rope area frayed and that's what's leaking. For a more expensive waterhose I would have thought it would have lasted longer. Super disappointed. I bought in mid May and have to throw it away mid July.

I liked the fact that they were somewhat retractable, I dislike that they do not last. I bought 2 and the same thing happened with both of them, they both got a whole in less than 2 months. They were a waste of money and disappointing.
