Description

SHAKE WELL BEFORE EACH USE

The best thing about this dry shampoo is the amount of powder that deposits onto hair. The hair feels freshly clean when I use thism and if you ever overdo it with a shine product, this can be layered on top to soak up a little bit of the excess.
For first time use, press down firmly to unlock the nozzle.

How to:
1. Apply to dirty or clean hair at the root. (Do not apply on wet hair!)
2. Gently tap the powder into the hair to make any visible powder disappear.
Tip: This can be used on clean hair as well to soak up oils as they come out!

Contains Zip-Up Technology, our proprietary strengthening complex designed to "zip-up" split ends while targeting weak areas of the hair, smoothing the appearance of damaged cuticles and helping to protect hair from environmental stressors and color fade.

cruelty free | color + keratin safe
free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates + silicones

  • A: Hello! Thank you for your question. The Kristin Ess Syle Reviving Brunette Dry Shampoo has a neutral brown tint versus the The Style Reviving Dry Shampoo which is a more translucent formula. The Brunette Dry Shampoo blends easily with deeper hair color and is specifically designed for darker or brown tones. Hope this helps!

  • A: Hello and thank you for your question! If you experience any residue gently tap the powder into the hair or brush through to make any visible powder disappear. For darker tones we recommend our Style Reviving Brunette Dry Shampoo, it has a neutral brown tint that blends easily with deeper hair colors. Hope this helps!

  • A: It's hard to describe because it doesn't smell like an object from nature. I would say that it's a white musk type of scent, a light and fresh floral. Notes might be peony, a tiny hint of cucumber, and subtle musk. I personally don't find the fragrance strong or overwhelming at all, and it fades quickly.

I am glad I’ve found a dry shampoo that works with all hair types, including Black natural & relaxed hair. I was able to extend my press & flat iron with this dry shampoo because it removed the oils and let my hair silky & smooth.

I have thin oily hair, I was optimistic to try this product as the reviews were decent. However, I had to use half the bottle and that still did not work. Some of the oil was absorbed but not near as much as it should. My store was out of my regular dry shampoo so I decided to give this one a shot. I would not recommend if you have oily hair! The smell is great but that’s about it.

Shrinkflation got this one. I use to love this product but you need a decent amount for it to work well and now that they’ve cut the volume in half and selling at the same price, its just not worth it. Time to find a new brand.

Keeps Hair Looking Fresh After Washing

5 out of 5 stars

After trying many different kinds of dry shampoo, from Batiste to Amika to Living Proof, I've found that the Kristin Ess Reviving Dry Shampoo is one of the few that works while not making my hair feel sticky or just generally unclean. The powder is very light, and even after spray over the same spot multiple times, after running my fingers through it and then a brush, it does a good job of drying up the oil on my scalp and not leaving a white cast on my hair. My hair always feels soft and clean, and I can even use it a third day if my hair wants to cooperate. I also like the price--it's much more reasonable than the other brands I mentioned. I also think it lasts for a reasonable amount of time. I use maybe 3-4 times a week, and I can go at least a month or two without needing to re-buy.

My new favorite dry shampoo!

I bought the mini version first to see if I’d like this, and I love it!! It leaves my hair voluminous and leaves zero residue on my hair. I have very thin hair and so sometimes dry shampoo leaves a film on my hair but this leaves my hair feeling clean and not stringy. It has a light scent and I’ve had no issues with the smell!

I love this dry shampoo. It is a little pricey but I feel like the bottle lasts. While and does a good job making my hair look fresh. One complaint is that I have bought this several times and I have had 2 bottles break from accidentally dropping it (about a foot). It seems like the bottle breaks easily.

Does a Good Job

4 out of 5 stars
Thumbs up graphic, would recommend
whitepicketfence - 4 months ago, Verified purchaser
PROS: -Does a good job at absorbing excess oil. I have tried many brands and IMO, if I want dry shampoo on hand, this is one of the best options available at regular stores (not salon specialty). -Leaves very little residue (just work it into hair, fluff it around & it’s all good. -Available in brunette if desired. -Some dry shampoo’s leave a very strange texture that ends up looking oily and stale - the very things the product is supposed to be fixing. Kristen Ess does not leave this type of strange texture in my hair - but it will leave a dried out feeling. -Hask performs comparably to the Kristen Ess. However, my first choice would be this one. CONS: -$$ Pricey, but all dry shampoo’s are pricey. This one is just a little bit more-so. -As with most dry shampoo’s, it will leave a very dry, straw-like texture to your hair. BUT, Kristen Ess dry shampoo isn’t AS drying as the other brands I have tried. -Every time I use dry shampoo, the smell and even the product itself is SO wrong. While convenient and helpful for busy people, there is no way any dry shampoo could possibly be good for our health or the planet. But this is also true for SO many products we use. -Seems to run out quickly. -Nozzle can be difficult to press down. It requires a good, hard press to operate it.

I work long hours in Healthcare and sometimes it's nice to have dry shampoo in my bag for a little lift me up! This is my favorite one! It smells beautiful, it works so well! Doesn't leave a yucky residue like the other dry shampoos, it hides oil and it gives lots of volume!

Great salon alternative

4 out of 5 stars
Thumbs up graphic, would recommend
Laurel - 5 months ago, Verified purchaser
My favorite store brand dry shampoo by far. It can leave a white cast, so you really need to zhuzh it in, but it's worth it to me since it works. I usually use this at night and sleep on it, so I don't really have to worry about the cast. It smells really good, but it doesn't last long. I gave it 4 stars mainly because it doesn't really give me any volume if I use it day one of dirty hair. My hair still looks pretty flat. If I sleep on it though, I'm good. On a scale of 1-10 oiliness, I would say I have like 6-7. If I could consistently afford my favorite salon dry shampoo would I purchase this over that? No, but this is a great alternative.
