This is very similar to the original "Julia Childs" fork that is currently sitting in a museum. It is great for all the uses mentioned, and more (using your imagination). Julia's was not silicone-coated. The original had "bent" tines (or maybe better described as "angled"). That aided in the mixing properties of the fork. Overlall, a great tool.

This fork is HUGE. It's more like a serving fork. I will be unable to use it for the intended purchase of whisking.
