KVD Beauty Paraben Free Aluminum Tattoo Eyeliner - Ulta Beauty

I have been using this eyeliner for nearly ten years but after they changed the formula its terrible. I have hooded eyes and this used to be the holy grail of eyeliners but now it smudges everywhere no matter what I do and its just so sticky. I feel like my eyelids are constantly sticking to my crease and every time I glance in the mirror I have smudges nearly to my brows. So so disappointed. Still need to find a dupe.

The BEST eyeliner I have ever used. I have tried sooo many different eyeliner brands. This is by far the best eyeliner.

This used to be the holy grail but man the way they messed with the formula has killed it. Tranfers to the eyelid after an hour of wear. Dissapointing.

I just bought this because I used to use it years ago and loved it! I’ve spent 20 minutes shaking it and it’s not even opaque!! Such a waste of money😤😤

They rolled out a new formula and it's absolutely awful. Why they would change a formula that has been a holy grail formula for over a decade is a mystery. Save your money, do not buy the new version of this liner.

I like it because the size is handy to keep in my purse for touch ups.

The product was almost dried up and very watery and didn't go on black.

This eyeliner takes too long to release product. Its streaky , dry, hard to work with. Very bad product

I never wrote reviews but if I can save a single person from my mistake I will. This was my holy grail eyeliner. I currently use a really old one that somehow hasnt dried out but is on its last legs. I bought a backup and finally tried it and they massacred my favorite eyeliner. Its almost squeaky trying to apply it and it keeps dragging and skipping. It dried down to a SUPER shiny finish which looks like rubber and tbh feels like rubber on my eyes, I can physically feel the wing sitting on my skin. This is now my least favorite eyeliner of all time and im mouring. If you loved this eyeliner this will do nothing for you I promise.

This is the best eyeliner i have used so far.. i have spent upto $40 for an eyeliner thinking one if them can make me happy but nothing worked. KVD is really smooth and low maintenance as it doesn't dry out fast. I have been using my smaller sixe for a year now

I dont know if I got a bad batch, but the eyeliner smudges ans doesn't last as I remmber it used too. I remember I could go dancing all night wearing it and it lasted, now it doesnt last on a normal day

Used to love this; was my holy grail. Now I have to find a new one because they changed the formula and it dries out super fast. Lame.

This uses to be my favorite liner for jaripeos but now it smudges and is not waterproof. Someone please recommend a new one

I never had this problem with the old KVD tattoo liner, but reading the reviews now I understand. It came completely dried, rough, and unusable. I followed what others said about storing it upside down and it fixed it. It definitely stays and seems like a same or similar formula to before, but the applicator and the fact I have to store it like that is terrible. I recommend looking for another eyeliner, this isnt it. KVD has gone downhill, Im so bummed. They wouldnt let me return either.

I like this eyeliner, don't get me wrong, but when it works. The tip gets dry super fast and I've had to turn it upside down to make sure it wets the brush again many times and it gets annoying,

I have used this product for about 15 years and loved it. Loved it so much that I have recommended it to countless people over the years. I just purchased a new one and it is the "new and improved" version but it is awful. The tip is stiffer, the product flow is not even, it pills up and doesn't layer well, overall disappointing. I don't know why KVD Beauty would ever touch such a perfect product but this is a tragedy, please go back to the previous formula and packaging. I am begging.

Why did they have to go and ruin the best eyeliner of all time?! I worked in cosmetics for 10 years and fell in love with this liner. I was apprehensive about them reformulating, and sadly for me, it completely ruined the product. I NEVER had this liner crease up on my lid before, and now the reformulation does. I have tried 3 tubes to make sure it wasn't just a one-off, but sadly it creases after 7-8 hours. That may sound good, but that means after the work day, my eyelids are sticking and the liner transfers before I can go out after work. I have tried dozens of other liners and have yet to find a perfect replacement, as many are not the brush tip I love, or they crease/smudge much faster. The closest I've found in formula is the Rare Beauty one, though the packaging shape is a little different to get used to (designed to be easier to grip though for people with hand dexterity issues). RIP to the greatest liquid liner of all time. 🪦

I think they changed their formula and it is no longer waterproof. I appreciated this eyeliner before because I have hooded eyes and need something that won't smudge - now it does. Will be returning & looking for something else.

I hated this eyeliner. I wear a dark winged eyeliner every day, usually black or brown. I knew Kat Von D was a controversial figure somewhat but didnt know why, and name recognition was a factor in my choosing this liner. I tested it out and it came out very pale and watery. I had to doubly apply it to my very white skin— so it would do NOTHING for someone darker than I am (which is anyone past a fair skin tone). KVD should be ashamed.
