I’d give the La Roche-Posay Baume B5 a solid 5 stars. I have oily, acne-prone skin, and I started using this cream because my skin became extremely sensitive after overusing active acne treatments like benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. I still use benzoyl peroxide as a spot treatment, but ever since I introduced the Baume, my breakouts have noticeably decreased. I also suspect I have fungal acne, possibly due to a damaged skin barrier. But so far, I haven’t had any fungal acne flare-ups. I’m also using Nizoral shampoo three times a week to manage it — and it seems to be working well. To support my skin barrier, I’ve been pairing the Baume B5 with the Tower 28 SOS spray. Together, they’ve worked like magic. I’ve only used the Baume for 1 week, and I’m already seeing fast improvement. I know this product is marketed more for dry skin types, but I gave it a try after undergoing acne removal treatments like microneedling. It’s helping my skin heal and adjust to the environment quickly. I’m not sure if I’m doing everything perfectly, but I do know one thing: my skin is healing incredibly fast.

This item was used when my skin was extremely dry to the point it was burning and itching terrible. I applied after using other LP products and in a day or two it started to get better

If, it was offered in larger sizes. If LRP easily identified the volume of product in their promoting materials. If their website was improved for login and tracking. The product itself is incredible for aging skin. IMO, it should be available in the 400 ml. Body products.

I love the Cicaplast Balm. I now use this as my night cream every single night. My skin is responding by looking smoother and lines are softening a lot. Amazing stuff!!

I was so disappointed when they discontinued substiance cream for mature skin. I found this cream with a serum worked well. As a lady in my early 60s I’m highly allergic to anything that contains vitamin c. Every skin care company seem to be adding it to their skin products. I’m grateful that your company doesn’t include it in every skin product you offer. I also like your rich cream. While I don’t like anything as much as your substiance I’m glad I was still able to find an alternative that didn’t include vitamin C.
