I LOVE the original cicaplast Baum so I thought I’d like the gel. Nope. I don’t think it’s designed for sensitive skin because it made my skin sting, itch, turn red and overall just irritated. I tried it several times, even reducing the amount of product I was using but it did not help. This is a warning to the sensitive skin girlies, stick with the original!

My dermatologist gave me a sample with her recommendation since I have rosacea-prone skin. She recommended it for winter. But it feels like it never absorbs into the skin and leaves a tacky, sticky layer over the skin. It feels heavy and unpleasant enough I couldn't even try it out a second time. No fragrance is a plus, but I just couldn't stand the feeling enough to realize any benefits from the product.

I used this on two cuts on my fingers, both right in a knuckle fold and kept on popping open not wanting to heal. I put a dab of this and a bandage on these and literally overnight the wound closed enough to stop bleeding, all redness and irritation went away and the cuts are both healed over 48 hours after the one treatment.

I used Cicaplast Gel B5 for windburn on cheeks, nose, forehead, and lips. The gel absorbed quickly, leaving my face feeling calm and moisturized. Nothing else calmed my chapped skin or got rid of the redness. After only two days of using Cicaplast B5 gel multiple times throughout the day, my face was no longer red and irritated. I use it in my morning and evening routine after cleansing and toning, then I moisturize. Of course, I always use SPF in the mornings. Thank you Laroche Posay for another great product that really works.I love, love, love Laroche Posay products!

I love this stuff. It’s perfect as a before makeup moisturizer step. It brings a sheen to my makeup. I have super sensitive cheeks- redness and this is the only thing I’ve found that doesn’t burn my cheeks. Very simple ingredients compared to other things on the market. It does leave a shine to your face- very high in glycerin. Some ppl might not appreciate that for an out the door moisture step. But I love this, especially for dry cold Minnesota winters.

I have psoriatic arthritis as well as connective tissue disease and my hands tend to peel in random spots all over my palms/sides of fingers and I like to put this on before bed and it has helped TREMENDOUSLY!! HIGHLY recommend!

Amazing! It’s great for acne prone skin, I actually use it as a base under my sunscreen and in replacement of my night cream! If your skin is irritated it can burn for a few moments and then calms down, it causes no breakouts for me!

While smelling it from the tube, the scent is almost non existent. I can only detect the slightly plastic-y scent when it was on my face.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed applying the cicaplast gel is that there was no noticeable scent. That is great for people with sensitivities. It absorbed fairly quickly into my dry skin. I have been using it for a few spots on my hands and now that winter weather is upon us, I get dry flaky patches under my eyes that I hope it will help with too. Can’t wait to test it out

I really wanted to love this product but I hate it. I can not relate to the reviews that say it absorbs well as all it's done is make my face feel sticky all night and day until I cleanse it off. I was hoping to use this overnight and wake up with soft and hydrated skin, but it just seems to sit on top and still feels greasy/sticky by morning. I really wish I had invested in the cicaplast b5 baume instead, as it's less expensive and now I'm stuck with this garbage. Save your money and do not purchase.

I love the regular Cicaplast Baume however this gel version burns my skins. It turns bright red every time I try it. I bought it to help with my skin barrier while using tretinoin.

I am in my 40s, worn makeup my entire life, and have a regular skincare routine, but I still often get dry and patchy spots on my face, wrists, elbows, and other areas. The cicaplast gel fixes the problem in one use! It’s a silky smooth gel-like serum that blends right into my skin and immediately relieves dry skin and smooths out any patchiness. My makeup goes on so much better when I use it on my face as well! Give it a try!
