La Roche-Posay Effaclar Deep Cleansing Foaming Cream Face Cleanser is suitable for oily skin. This face cleanser helps cleanse skin thoroughly and visibly minimizes pores while removing excess oil. The cream texture develops into a soft, rich foam that rinses off easily. The face wash contains Glycerin to help provide moisture and Coco-glucoside to help thoroughly cleanse the skin.
How to Use: Cleanse morning and/or in the evening. Lather the cream with lukewarm water between palms and apply to wet face, massaging the skin gently. Rinse thoroughly with water and dry without rubbing. Avoid eye area.

I use La Roche Posay cleaners all my life and my oily skin loves them. Bought this one for the first time only to realize upon receiving it that it's not the usual 400ml size but a 125ml one at the same price as the big one. As if LRP products aren't already far more expensive in the US compared to Europe. Frustrated.

Using this product is an extremely unpleasant experience. It is the most stripping product I’ve ever used. “Squeaky clean” after rinsing off, leaving a residue-like feeling on my face and hands. I have very oily skin and persistent adult acne, so I thought I would like this face wash.

I wanted to like this product because I used La Roche-Posay products plenty of times, and I LOVE! I splurged on this item and it was labeled as unscented and no fragrance added it very much has a scent. Sure, maybe it's not "fragrance" but I have sensory issues and it smells similar to a citronella candle to me. I'll keep it at three stars because it does help with what it says it does (oil and large pores) but the misleading scent is enough for me to dock two stars. If you don't mind scents, however, id still recommend this to you.

I've tried many acne cleansers and usually run into the problem of the cleanser being too drying or feeling like it does nothing at all. La Roche-Posay is an effective cleanser that controls my acne better than anything else I've found and I have never had the problem of it being too drying. It is gentle and effective and I highly recommend it

First time using the cream cleanser and I love it! You can feel after using how different the skin feels and looks. I use only once a day, every night. Although my skin is oily, I don’t want to be too harsh on it so in the morning I use the Effaclair regular cleanser. I believe adding a deep cleansing regimen to my skincare routine was an important step, specially because I use serums, moisturizer and sunscreen everyday. I got imagine that although is a good practice it also leaves some buildups in my skin. Strongly recommend the use of the deep cleanser.

I love using this La Roche-Posay cream cleanser to wash my face after returning home from work or after cooking. My face feels so soft and clean. It smells good too. No irritations. Just small amount needed to clean the entire face. Really love this product!

I love this face wash to take away all the impurities and oil from the whole day! It’s a great basic face wash and a little goes a long way. This tube lasted me for more than half a year!! Great price point as well!

The best cleanser. I use it in the morning and it makes my larger pores seem smaller. It is not harsh and drying. It is almost like a gentle exfoliator. Love!

This face wash probably works fine but I dislike the smell of it so much that I can’t bring myself to use it. It’s a weird chemical smell and it lingers on my skin after washing and rinsing.

I really like how thick and creamy this face wash is, it also has a very pleasant smell to it. I just started using it but am already wanting to use this every day over my other skin care brands. I tend to prefer this much better then the gel face washes out there. You only need a little bit and you get amazing coverage all over. The size is just right, as it should last you a while. Very impressed!

I have very oily skin and this cleanser is great. My face feels clean, but not dried out after using and I've noticed that, overall I'm less oily throughout the day. The price point is great as well! Definitely worth a try.

I love this product because it is gentle on my skin, it cleans my face from the dirt perfectly, I don’t have to worry about my face being red because this product won’t do that. I just need a tinny small amount on my palm and can clean the whole face perfectly. The price, you got what you paid! This is a gold, what are you waiting for?

I really like this cleanser! It lathers really well, it has a thick/creamy consistency & you don’t need much; a little goes a long way. It also doesn’t make my skin feel super tight afterwards which happens with a lot of other cleansers, my skin looks & feels matte & fresh. It doesn’t have a lot of ingredients which is another plus. The only drawback is that it is a bit pricey.

I purchased this after trying another cleanser from the Effaclar line, the one that is more of a foaming gel cleanser. I loved that one so much but this one was reviewed more and seem to be more popular so I wanted to try it. I didn’t hate it, but it gave me a tighter feeling after washing. My moisturizer was able to relieve that dry tight feeling so I had no problem finishing the bottle. A little goes a long way, the tube lasted about 7 months. It really does foam up which is nice. It just left me feeling tight, as if I had used the wrong type of soap to go with the hard water I have.
