La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Facial Moisturizer is designed and formulated for sensitive skin. It's lightweight, oil-free, matifying texture instantly absorbs into the skin and restores skin comfort. The oil-free facial moisturizer is for oily and combination skin. As all La Roche-Posay Toleriane skin care, this oil-free moisturizer is also formulated under a strict formulation charter with the tolerance of sensitive skin in mind. Face moisturizer provides up to 48-hour hydration & helps restore skin's barrier after 1 hour.
How to Use: Apply moisturizer to the face and neck morning and evening. Its soft, oil-free texture is easily absorbed.

Q: I've been using the version with spf, which slightly tends to pill in my experience and am wondering if this version without sunscreen pills. Has anyone here used both products (with spf and without)?

A: Hi Westernmassgal! Neither of the Toleriane Double Repair Moisturizers should cause pilling. Pilling can be cause by using too much of a product. Be sure to use about the size of a dime for either formula. We hope this information is helpful!

This moisturizer is a game changer. I have dry skin but I don’t like when moisturizers feel heavy and greasy. Somehow this products is both rich and moisturizing while still being light and almost gel like. I don’t know how they accomplished that but it’s the perfect consistency and feels so nice on the skin throughout the day. 100% worth it.

I experienced pilling with this moisturizer- I thought it may be reacting to other products but noticed that it pills on its own regardless. Also, it didn’t really penetrate my skin well.

At times, if this very hydrating moisturizer is layered under or over another hydrating skincare product that has not fully absorbed into skin, it can cause the moisturizer to ball up or “pill”. To help avoid this, we recommend allowing the first product you apply in your skincare routine to fully dry and absorb into skin until it feels dry to the touch before layering on the next product. This product and brand in general promotes honest and clear ingredients that are clean and not smelly. I like how it mixes into my face and leaves it feeling hydrated but without the product buildup. I’ve been using it for 2 weeks now and I feel as if it’s effective as a moisturizer and non drying

I got this from my friend who works at the dermatologist office and I would have to say, it is hands down the most moisturizing moisturizer I have ever used! If you have dry skin this is made just for you! I have combo skin so I like to use this at night time to keep my face overall moisturized so in the morning I don’t see any dry patches.

I used to use the first aid beauty ultimate moisture cream but I changed to this one because I wanted a moisturizer in a tube (more sanitary). I really like the feeling of this on my skin, it’s hydrating and soaks in quickly. I have dry skin, so I usually apply this after a hyaluronic serum.

A recent purchase in the last 6 months and it has become a favorite. This is a great moisturizer to use first thing in the morning when I wake up. It is easy to use in combination with tan drops because you can just deposit everything onto your fingers easily.

This is definitely in my holy grail list of products. I bought this last summer as part of an array of La Roche Posay products that I had never used before, but my gut (ad Dr. Shah) were telling me to try this line. So this must have been the first moisturizer that stood out to me that had the effects I needed to work on my skin. But I’m happy it was, because I used to use it at night after washing my face and all of my makeup off for the night. (I work a night job) I just recently ran out of it, and I absolutely salvaged the last bit of it. I used it also as an eye cream too. I only use this product before bed after applying a retinol serum and I don’t wake up with an oily forehead. My skin feels soft and supple, and even if I wash my face in the morning, I can still feel the effects of how it worked on my skin for the past 8-10 hours, and I don’t get milia around my eyes either, even though I had used it as a makeshift eye cream. The only thing I did not like about this product is that they pulled a Charlotte Tilbury and didn’t put in as much product as there should be in the packaging. Other than that, I highly recommend this product.
