Works great, just like the more expensive brands! Leaves your face feeling refreshed.

There is a weird petroleum smell and it’s not very moisturizing. I do like the soft feel of my skin after using but the smell is off putting.

Putting mineral sunscreen on top resulted in piling white bits. Can’t be used with it.

I like how it goes on and creates a non-oily finish however it flakes/pills off and I have to wipe the flakes off often otherwise it looks like I have a skin condition. I likely won’t be buying again for this reason alone.

My husband had a severe allergic reaction to his hearing aid molds and had to have hypoallergenic molds made. The allergy caused significant outer ear infections and terrible skin problems. The skin on his face and around his ears was red, swollen, hot, irritated, and peeling badly. He was using lotion constantly and was miserable for months. His ENT doctor solved the ear infection, but did nothing for the skin irritation. I purchased the double repair matte moisturizer, thinking he needed to stop the regular lotion and use something better. I also purchased the triple repair moisturizing cream. He uses both daily and his skin is mostly healed. He isn't miserable anymore, and he loves the products. He saw a dermatologist today - finally, and got a prescription cream, but the dermatologist liked that he was using Laroche-Posay creams. He still uses them and loves them. I highly recommend these products.

Switched from regular skin to oily/combo option and love it.

It pills terribly under makeup. It doesn’t mattify. I cannot use it.

I found that while the product reduces visible shine when first applied, it did not eliminate it and was not effective at all in reducing visible shine after 3 to 4 hours.

It makes my skin not oily, so it’s a plus. But it does shed. I have to wipe the dried pieces off my face.

Purchased this because I have oily skin and sweat a lot, even on my face. It isn’t bad as a moisturizer but it doesn’t leave a matte finish as claimed. Even with powder over it, my face gets shiny although it doesn’t look as greasy as with other products. Btw, your “how to apply” video is a joke. It shows someone squeezing out about 1/2 inch of product, then the model placing a tiny dot of it on her chin, both cheeks, and her forehead. There is no way those tiny dots will spread and actually moisturize her entire face.

This is my second moisturizer from LA Roche Posay. This is the first brand that I've actually used the entire bottle; usually my fave decides it no longer "likes" it and I'm forced to find something else. This is wonderful for my sensitive skin. I haven't had any issues at all. I have an oily face and hate it; great for slowing down wrinkling, but just irritating over all. This moisturizer makes my skin feel soft and keeps the oil at bay. I don't get a totally matte face, but am left with a slight, slowy sheen, which looks beautiful and youthful instead of "I'm melting" lol. I'll keep buying!

This moisturizer is okay on its own; I found it made my skin feel nice, but wasn’t quite as mattefying as I’d hoped, though better than a standard moisturizer on that front. I was on the fence about repurchasing at first. But if you think you’re gonna put anything on top of it, think again. Suscreen? Pills. Setting powder? Flakes. Based on that, definitely not repurchasing and likely will not finish.

Have the skin type for this moisturize it caused more acne and left face more oily then before looked like I just worked out don’t recommend at all

Perfect lotion for combination skin

It pills after 2 hours . It does not absorb and does not last 48 hours as they claim. Definitely cannot be used during the day or under make up.

For whatever reason, I just discovered this product. I was using the Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer until now, and have been very happy with it. Once I started, my skin felt much better than with anything else I used, but not quite like it was ever fully absorbed. I thought that was a function of the one I liked - with the SPF. Then I discovered this - the matte aspect caught my eye, and since I've always had combo or oily skin, I wanted to give this one a try. OMG. This is phenomenal. My skin still feels great, but it isn't even a little bit tacky at all now. I hope there's a way to include an SPF in a future version, but I can't believe this is as good as it really is. I'm a believer and will be buying again and again!

A little goes a long way. Helps calm the oil look on my skin

This product is so mattifying and drying that it left a white cast on my skin like Sunscreen and even started to rub off and peel. This left my skin looking DRYER. No not recommending

After trying a competitors oil control/mattifying gel moisturizer for 2 months, it was very apparent in just 1-2 applications of the Toleriane Double Repair Matte Face Moisturizer how much as superior product it is. I only needed 3/4 the amount to cover the same amount of face and neck (if not more) and if left a very silky, soft, smooth surface that simply could not be beat. The mattifying effect is wonderful. My skin hasn't felt this good, since, well, before I can even remember!

This is a great morning moisturizer! It was not harsh on my sensitive skin either!
