A: Hi Maureen. There are 2 versions of the piano. On the newer version, you can turn the motor off by sliding the switch. This allows for more piano tune fun. The Battat Team

Cute product, seems engaging. I received today. Really surprise, not in a good way. Product was not in any type of packaging, was on and had the try me tag still on it. I'm all about reducing post consumer waste but this was definitely a "floor model" or return, visible wear/marks. Targets standards have really slipped, second item in last 6 months that were previos used/wear/damaged. Paid full price for a second hand item, that is not giftable.

My 1-year-old immediately started playing with it immediately out of the box and LOVED it. But I quickly discovered the birds didn’t work and there were several marks on it that made me believe it was used.

My daughter loves this toy from about 3 months old and is still playing with it at 9 months. I used to play it for her and now she can do it on her own. My favorite part is how adjustable it it with volume, different noises, and the setting that plays notes to a song each time you press a key. The lights and balls that fly up teach cause and effect too! Great buy.

I love this toy personally even as a grown adult (29). How interactive and simplistic it is to use. My older son (2.5) loves to just hit the music button and dance to the beat and my youngest (1) loves to just press every key to see what happens. I work with autistic children and this toy is also always a hit with them, being able to use it as reinforcement.
