    The Jury is Still Out

    Over the last couple of years, I have ordered and returned se pairs of women’s board shorts due to the lack of styling features I like. I have board shorts from years ago that were styled like men’s board shorts that had Velcro closures and pockets on the legs where you could actually store something. Although I ordered these to wear as shorts over my bikini bottoms when I’m doing water activities, I’m not happy with the style or lack of functionality of the pockets. Unfortunately, it looks like the styling is here to stay. Please bring back the previous style for the board shorts.

    Black dye bleeds!

    Buyer beware -- great shorts, very comfy, great fit and style but the black ones (at least) REALLY bleed the dye badly -- like all over furniture and skin - after several COLD water washes, as directed. BEWARE

    light colors stain easily

    I really love the color (pale blue) but disappointed that dirt stains won't come out. I literally only wore them once and can't get the stains out. If you're going to the beach, not a pool, definitely get a dark color.

    Pockets not great!

    I bought these shorts in 2 sizes. I bought my actual size at first but the pockets stuck out, so I ordered the next size up. One of the pockets was already torn, but I decided to wear them. The pockets still poke out and are annoying in the pool. Now that I wore them, I have to keep them. I may take them to the tailor and have her sew the pockets closed on both pairs. Frustrating.

    Colors don’t match

    I bought this in the Orange tropical print to wear with the tulip hem tankini top in the same print. Unfortunately the colors are quite different and I would not wear them together. The shorts are also pretty tight and seem to run a bit small.

    Comfortable shorts for water recreation

    I bought these shorts for non-swimming water recreation like kayaking and fishing. I bought the style with the built-in panty because I expect to get wet in the kayak. They fit great and are true to size. They are comfortable and seem to dry quickly.

    BEST shorts ever!

    These are my go to shorts for EVERYTHING! Kayaking, boating, running errands around town to doing chores and relaxing around home. They are always the first thing I pack in my suitcase when traveling. I have never had a problem with them discoloring from the use of suntan lotion. They come out of the dryer looking just like the first day I got them. I have lost weight over the winter and need new sizes and colors but can only get size 6 in black and blue. Please restock in all the colors before summer is over.

    Do not waste your money. Terrible quality.

    I bought these swim shorts specifically because of LandsEnd’s reputation for high quality. I am very disappointed. I can find better at a discount store. The shorts are not only ill fitting but the material feels like plastic.

    Plus sizing is way off

    The plus sizing is way off. I ordered 16W for a little extra room in the gut and they are noticeably smaller than the size 16 pair I already have.

    Poor quality

    We bought 4 pairs of these a couple years ago and they were amazing. We just ordered more and were very disappointed. The light colors are see through, the cut is different they balloon in the front and flair out on the sides. The material seems thinner, overall poor quality. We will be returning our purchases and looking elsewhere.

    Sizing is off on this item. I went up a size and it’s still too small. Probably a size larger would be too snug for my liking. Pockets are nice to have but I’m returning for size issue.

    Modest length and great color

    These are unexpectedly wonderful… I walk 2 miles a day and four days a week work out at the gym… I have used the shorts as Gym and exercise shorts… Love them will order more
