    Perfect for beach walking!

    I like that they are longer shorts, and very quick drying after getting wet. I bought without the attached panty and glad I did. Usually wear with regular panties since I don’t swim in them. Perfect for beach walking! They do make a slight swishing sound when walking, but at the beach you don’t hear it with the breeze and wave noise. Would love to have deeper pockets- you can’t keep anything in these except a few sharks teeth or beach pebbles. Ordered my usual size and they fit great and very comfortable. No chafing! Happy with this purchase!

    Might run big

    The orange-y peach color ran slightly big on me though I ordered according to the size chart, however I also purchased the same pair in black and it fit perfectly. Gave it 5-stars because these Board Shorts are a high quality item: style, material, colors, comfort and overall quality.

    Great material

    I bought these for the pool and they are perfect. I’m 5’4” and weigh 145 lbs. The size 10 fits perfect and the longer length hides my chubby thighs. I bought one pair with the attached panty for the pool and another without for days I just need waterproof shorts. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a versatile pair of shorts. Light weight and great to pack for vacation too.

    Worth it!

    I got both a swim skort and these swim shorts. I wore the skort once and it's going to be donated to a local thrift shop. These shorts, though, are wonderful! They are swim material, but have less of that annoying rustle sound. The pockets are pretty good, but I wish they were a little deeper--don't try to put too much in them, but they do hold your stuff (and your hands). The length is wonderful. Now I won't have that annoying chub rub feeling that I hate. These were comfy immediately. Another win for Lands' End.

    Excellent.

    Love these! Perfect length for my long legs and hit about mid thigh. Pants are a bit swishy (loud) before you get them wet. Could be because my thighs rub. Pockets are worthless, can put anything in them because they are so small. Love them though. Bonus that they are SPF 50. .

    Don’t fit well if you have a tummy

    I love the 9” inseam on these, but I had to size up 1 size to get them to fit comfortably. Still though, the pockets gap badly. I think they could really use a design update on the pockets. The shorts are very comfortable though, and I still do wear them. The material is a little warm for super hot weather though. It’s like a double thickness swim suit.

    Great fit for this plus-size gal

    I am a plus-size woman at 5’11”and currently 295lb, and these swim sorts in size 3x give me the extra coverage I like when worn over my Land’s End tugless tank swimsuit. With a 9-inch inseam, they are long enough, there’s plenty of room through the hips and butt, and in addition to the elastic, there is a cord to pull from the inside front of the waist to cinch it in. I recently wore these snorkeling in Hawai’i and will wear them cold water dipping here at home in Alaska and when using the local swimming pool. They dry out pretty fast. I put them through a delicate, warm water cycle in my washing machine when I got home from my trip, and hung them to dry, and they still look brand new.

    These are the very best summer shorts! I am an active, fit 65 year old and these shorts have everything. Comfortable, well made, cool, quick drying. I want more colors please!!

    Great basic swim short

    These are my “go to” shorts for vacations. Really great for shore excursions to the beach. They are comfortable enough to wear for long periods of time and dry quickly after swimming.

    Sizing an issue?

    I bought this in a size large enough to accommodate a large mid section, which it does. However, the length reaches the top of my knees and feels a bit oversized. This material dries quickly, a plus.

    Great for outdoor activities.

    I am happy with this product. The shorts fit well in the waist, however, the leg portion is a little too wide for my leg size. I wore them on several bike rides and they were very comfortable.

    I keep hoping they will put a zipper on at least one pocket because the pockets are useless unless you only stand up in them. Sitting and swimming everything falls out.

    Always at the beach.

    All I wore in Hawaii. Great for packing. On top of being my favorite board short, I also found that there are perfect for beach walking. I forgot a beach treasure bag and just used the pockets. The sand filtered right out of the pockets as I walked! I do take away a star because of the limited color range. Give us all the 5 inch length colors!!!!

    Holds up to regular use

    Bought these in May,it is now October. getting lots of wear in chlorine and salt plus washing once to twice a week. Great fit. pockets are perfect for holding locker key. No fading or stretching discernible.

    Very wide legs not as pictured on the model. Fits in the attached bathing suit bottom-expected something with a slim profile. Ordered size 14-with out the bathing suit insert could probably fit size 18
