    Needs some improvement

    I own several pieces of tour swim wear. One problem: the shelf in the wire free tops are not sewn down. It’s difficult to put the top on and adjust the fit. Also, like the cheap swim wear out there the tops blow up like parachutes around my waist. Too bad because I love the quality, the designs and the colors/patterns

    Better for lounging

    Just beware that when you swim the top fills with a bubble of air. Helps you float, I guess, but it's kind of comical. Also, the loose flutter section floats up around you in the water.

    Very popular on cruise ships!

    I bought this swim top for a cruise I was going on. The top itself is very cute and fit well, and I felt good wearing it. However - so did about 10 or so other ladies on the ship. It was kind of embarrassing to run into SO many other people wearing the same suit. Did not wear it again after that first day.

    Not worth the money even on sale.

    I have bought three tankini tops and bottoms to match and all three faded terribly. So bad that I don’t even wear them anymore. Chlorine resistant is a joke. A waste of money if you ask me!

    Bought this on clearance for a great price.

    I had a high waisted bottom that matched this print perfectly. Love that it is more of a flowy design in the belly than tight fitting.

    Great product bad bra pads

    I have owned probably 10 Lands End bathing suit tankini tops and bottoms. They’re all very comfortable and true to size. My only complaint regarding all of them is that the removable pads in the tops seem to always fold in half when I swim or when I wash the bathing suit afterwards. Then it’s nearly impossible to get my fingers in the very small opening to fix them. This has been a design flaw since day one and I wish LandsEnd would affix the pads with a small inner snap or Velcro so they would not do this. Everything else about their bathing suits is stellar.

    Worst built in bra ever!

    I love the color and design of the fabric. The style is nice BUT the bra is a PAIN. Those flimsy pads that move around into the wrong spots and fold up inside the fabric so that it’s very difficult to fix, are ridiculous!!!! It also makes for a very unflattering bust area. If it had actual sewn in bra cups, or a built in underwire bra, it would be perfect. Why wouldn’t a woman want something that would support and enhance that part of her body in a swim suit rather than have it look weird, flattened and cockeyed depending on where those thin pads migrate to. If I hadn’t worn it already, or had read the previous reviews where so many others complained about the same thing, I would be returning it. And I paid full price!!! Please do better next year Land’s End. This is quite the departure from your previous high quality swim wear.

    Flutter Suit did not suit me

    The flutter appeared too wide on my body and the straps were too thick making the suit look matronly. The suit on the model looked much better. Well made but I returned the suit.

    Beautiful. Love fabric and colors and fit. Bra is not a bra. Just a space in fabric layers with pads that move around and fold over. Not a good look to have one under a breast and one folder over top of other breast. Only wore 15 minutes.

    A great option gone awry

    Lands End's flutter tankinis were the best, until recently. The decision to remove the underwire bra is terrible, especially for larger busted sizes. The new bra provides no support, and has the "uni-boob" effect. Plus the quality has gone way down. New styles no longer have a hem, but just a finishing stitch. And it appears that the colors fade quickly. Not worth the money asked.
