Didn’t like the fit. It was more high rise than midrise. I thought that if I washed it in hot water it would shrink, it did not. It was loose fitting, felt uncomfortable.

Ok, I thought I’d try again as Starfish jeans were my favorites! They were comfortable, laundered well and dog hair did not stick to them. A few years ago Lands End made a change in the fabric, I have ordered several pair and absolutely will not wear them. They’re baggy, hang in the behind like I’m wearing diapers and attract dog hair as well as a furminator. Since I’m down to my last two hole-y pairs of my original jeans, I thought I’d try again. Oh and this time they smelled so badly of mold I thought I’d have an asthma attack! No more Starfish for me! 😭

After 3-4 washes the elasticity is gone and the pants are now too slouchy to wear. Plus - it is impossible to get the STINK out of these pants. Lands End used to be better than this. Why the decline in quality?

These comfy jeans exceeded my expectations! Great fit, though they do stretch some with wearing. I had read reviews about a chemical smell. There was none. And the pockets are a real upgrade from my older Starfish pants.I bought the light wash. Am ordering the darker ones today.

These are very nice - but the rise is too high, even in the petite. Usually a mid-rise comes up to my waist (which is fine), but these went up to 2-3 inches above my waist. They are a nice fabric, and the waist is soft and "forgiving".

Love the look and comfort but they are not durable. They aren’t for people with animals. Fabric gets runs and pulls all over them. They will soon be only for in the house jeans.

Very comfortable, no break-in required. I am donating all of my other jeans because these jeans are all I will be wearing. They washed nicely. With normal wear, the jean stays up at the waist, but with yardwork, I noticed I was pulling them up frequently. I would’ve worn a belt if there were belt loops. I just ordered another pair of these jeans in a lighter color for summer. They are a nice weight and have a little bit of spandex in them for fit. I am a size 14/16, 175 pounds, and ordered a size large. They couldn’t have fit any better.

I always bought the "original" starfish jeans and few years ago. Purchased their revised version and they are awful. I feel like I'm wearing old lady pants. They don't hold their shape and get so baggy. Please, please, please bring back the original version with the original quality!!! PLEASE

I was looking for pull on jeans that were straight leg. The fabric had a strong odor and didn't feel like denim. It was very soft and stretchy. These jeans also become pretty loose after wearing for awhile.

I ordered the dark Indio Starfish knit jeans and am so happy I did. I’ve been looking for a pair of comfy jeans that fit my curves and have straight legs and 5’2” height. Not skinny and not the super wide bootcuts (almost bell bottom) stores are currently featuring. My order arrived today and I have already ordered a second pair. These Starfish knit jeans are as comfy as PJs, yet look like “Real” jeans. I especially like the mid-weight knit which will be suitable for year round wear even in warm climates. The flat front features two pockets (wit rivets) and a faux fly front. An added bonus is the nice stretch of the waist that makes it easy for artretic hands to put them on. I like these enough that I have forwarded the item to 3 other “shorties” I know will love them as well.

Not a fan of the new design. They do not fit the same way the old Starfish denim did. They are looser and tend to ride down. Bring back the old design!!!

I really like the jeans. They are very comfortable to wear. However, this pair was too long for me (I hemmed them up), and they have a terrible odor to them that won’t come out after several washings. It’s like a strong petroleum odor. Hopefully, it will disappear after a few more washings!

I am glad I didn't listen to a lot of the reviews! I love the Starfish brand, especially the leggings. When I saw these, I knew I had to try them. I must admit, I did hesitate due to some of the reviews complaining about a chemical smell. I just couldn't imagine this company knowingly selling a garment that smelled. The reviewers that mentioned a smell must have gotten some from a bad lot. I came here to say that these are amazing! The pair I received has absolutely no smell, and I can't imagine them snagging easily like others mentioned. If you have a feral cat on your lap, maybe it will happen. They are very comfortable, and I am very happy I took a chance on this great pair of pants!
