Lands' End Women's Starfish High Rise Knit Denim Straight Jeans

I bought these jeans about two months ago and one color and liked it so much I ordered the other two colors! The fit was perfect so comfortable! If you follow the directions for the sizing, it works very very well! I’ve told many people about these jeans and I don’t know how many of them have followed through by ordering them for themselves. But they are great!

I bought a few pairs of these. They are soft, very comfortable, and true to size. However, I've been wearing them for a few weeks, and every pair has snagged.

The jeans would be perfect, but they arrived wreaking if mothballs. I tried every possible thing to get rid of smell. LE said they could exchange them. Forget it, as she couldn’t promise me my next pair wasn’t stocked in the same mothballs. Can’t wear them.

These would be great pants for a mortician, taxidermist, or anyone else who is already accustomed to the pungent smell of formaldehyde. They'd be comfortable if I could stand wearing them. I've washed them numerous times, aired them out, soaked them in vinegar, and nothing can cut the smell of pickled frog.

These fit well, wash well, and are just the right length for me at 5'2". Ordered a bunch of them. Wish they came in black denim.

If I'd pulled this used out of my closet, I would have thought "too bad, the elastic is all stretched out." Except that this is new and the elastic band is only a few inches smaller than the fabric below it. Basically sized like a man's pair of pants.

Just received my order of "starfish high rise straight leg pull on knit denim jeans" and they are perfect! After placing my order I had concerns after reading reviews. SEVERAL people were disappointed for multiple reasons...length (particularly petite),overall fit,change in quality,etc. I am THRILLED to say that my petite indigo jeans are EXACTLY the same as what I have ordered in the past. I LOVE THESE JEANS.They are my go to choice for everyday wear.Classic styling and GREAT fit I can continue to rely on. I am 5'4"...162LBS...36in waist...28-29" inseam (in flat soled shoes)and the petite Large is my perfect size.!!!!

Love these pants. Stretches to fit and have a great look. My only complaint is that they are long.I ordered a MP and they are 2 inches too long. They did have a chemical oder but I aired them for a day and then washed them and it disappeared. Love them and will reorder!

The material on these jeans is soft and stretchy but they do not offer plus size petite. I order a plus size and it's a foot too long. Not fair. Now I have to have them altered.

Very comfortable and they look great. They do not stretch out, slip down or bunch up.

I had these jeans in a darker indigo and really liked them, so I ordered another pair in the light indigo color. Same jeans, same cut, same size (small) -- and imagine my surprise when I tried on the light blue jeans to find they're about 3 1/4" longer than they should have been! Now I have to spend more money to get them to the correct length. I'm only going to do this vs. returning them because they are comfortable. I fail to understand why any identical pair of pants (and Land's End isn't the only seller with this issue) -- same everything except color -- can vary so much in fit, length, etc. It's infuriating. I've been a Land's End customer for decades, but issues with quality control and quality in general seem to be going downhill.

These have been my "go to" jeans for years. Then they changed to a different material and added from pockets. These newer jeans do not fit as nicely as the originals and get very loose quickly. I wore the new style two days ago and they got so baggy, they were starting to slide off my hips. Luckily I also brought a pair of the original style which fit MUCH better.

Very comfortable ... just ordered a second pair in large/ tall ... length is perfect. Indigo was the only color option without light/dark areas in fabric. I would love to get these pants in black!

My previous elastic waist jeans from Land's End were always a bit baggy, but in the end were discontinued and I despaired of finding others. So far, the Starfish jeans are better fitting and more fashionable. I've only worn them a few times, but am pleased with the fabric and fit

Love them and have worn several times. Only downside is they pick easily.

I had to wait a bit, but these are worth it! Now I want other colors!

This jeans are soft and fit like a dream! That said, I ordered what usually is my size in bottoms like this (namely a 3X) but after trying them on that size is too large, so I am sending them back and have ordered a 2X which I hope fits so that I am not in between sizes and unable to wear both jeans. How about making these in a crop length? This would be good for those of us who are vertically challenged (short).

Very comfortable. I wore these jeans, as they fit comfortably,for the first time on a day of travel on an airplane. They seemed to grow wider and longer. I washed them when I arrived because I had to wear them home. They grew again. I called Landsend and they kindly exchanged the size large for a medium. I am hopeful the smaller size will work when I receive them.

Comfortable and attractive - I bought the dark wash after seeing how much I liked the lighter pair I tried. I expect to get a lot of wear out of these.

Starfish; denim look but stretchy. and pockets!! These will be worn constantly. I usually buy medium, but recently found them a bit loose. Small fit perfectly except for the long leg. What happened to choosing leg length?
