Directions adults 18 years of age and older, this product is to be used once a day (every 24 hours), every day for 14 days, it may take 1 to 4 days for full effect, although some people get complete relief of symptoms within 24 hours 14-Day Course of Treatment swallow 1 capsule with a glass of water before eating in the morning, take every day for 14 days, do not take more than 1 capsule a day, swallow whole. Do not crush or chew capsules, do not use for more than 14 days unless directed by your doctor, Repeated 14-Day Courses (if needed) you may repeat a 14-day course every 4 months, do not take for more than 14 days or more often than every 4 months unless directed by a doctor, children under 18 years of age: ask a doctor before use. As a person with Celiac, I need to use products that are gluten free. This product used to have the orange GF symbol on the product page. It no longer does. A statement remains in the description saying it is gluten free. Which is correct? I need to use a PPI as a result of Celiac damage, so I can't use a product that could cause more damage.

Always in My Med Cabinet
My doctor recommended this and I'm so grateful he did. I use it as preventative more than treatment. When I eat something I know is going to set my insides on fire, I take one and it prevents it. Also, if I feel it building up (mostly at bedtime), I'll take one. I don't have to replace them often and it keeps the doc appointments at bay. YAY!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of Walgreens Omeprazole Delayed Release Acid Reducer Tablets from Perrigo and am quite pleased with the results! I suffer from frequent heartburn and did not want another prescription so i had been using the national brand otc products which can be quite expensive. I tried the sample and it worked just as well as what i had been using and it is made with the same active ingredients at a fraction of the cost! I am so happy i was able to try this sample of Walgreens Omeprazole and will definitely purchase in the future!

Good product but environmentally wasteful
The best thing to regulate acid reflux. I feel like I’ve tried a lot of things and some even prescription and this is the best I’ve found. Wish I cld get a larger quantity though as many doctors recommend it for daily use or for far longer than the supply given. Also wish we could cut down on the waste and put the quantity in one bottle instead of 3.
