Beware: not made in USA
I’ve been on the hunt for famotidine made in the USA after reading a ProPublica report about concerning safety violations in India labs that make famotidine (Glenmark Pharmaceuticals). I ordered this product because a Q&A response said it was made in the USA; however, the box is clear that it is made in India. The lab name is not specified, so I cannot determine if it’s made by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, which is under investigation by the FDA.

Disappointed
I’ve been using the target Famotidine for several years. This new version is completely ineffective.

Split the pill
The outer coating on the pill does not dissolve well, so it needs to be split into smaller pieces or crushed before taking to be effective. Did not work when taken whole.

Disappointed
I'd been taking this up&up 20 mg famotidine for years, and it was always effective in managing my reflux symptoms. I've noticed worsening symptoms over the past several weeks, the exact amount of time that I've been using the new formula. Very disappointing.

New version does not work
I used to rely on this brand exclusively. I just started the new formula and it is completely ineffective. Please bring back the old version.

100% INEFFECTIVE. What changed???
What changed? The Up & Up brand of Famotidine absolutely doesn’t work anymore. The pills are 100% ineffective. I checked the recent reviews just to see if maybe it’s just me, and nope! I see a whole bunch of other people are experiencing the same thing. This is a huge bummer. May as well be taking sugar pills for all the good this is doing me. I’m going to include a photo of the old bottle with the formula that actually worked. Please bring that back! 🙏🏻

What happened?
Love the price but something has definitely changed in how effective this is. I usually take 1-2 tablets depending on how bad my heartburn is but I noticed after several times of using this med, I literally felt no change in my heartburn. It’s almost like I’m taking a placebo!

Disappointed after recent change
Since the tablet changed it definitely doesn't work. I honestly wonder what this tablet is used for. Definitely not for acid/ heartburn. The other tablet worked great...why change it? I'm back to using Pepcid AC.
